Unethical Dealership - Do not buy I purchased a new Honda Pilot from this dealership. At the time of the pick up, I noticed that there were couple of pieces missing from the vehicle. I I purchased a new Honda Pilot from this dealership. At the time of the pick up, I noticed that there were couple of pieces missing from the vehicle. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt to address these issues. The repairs dragged on and took several weeks to address. They also promised a loaner which never materialized (twice!). The Sales guy promised roof racks in exchange for positive customer svc. reviews (which they relay on heavily). I contacted the customer svc. mgr and president, and have never heard from them. This leads me to believe that this is their usual protocol to gain good reviews. I would really stay away from this dealership. And they never fixed the wind noise issue when exceeding 60 MPH - the sales guy returned the vehicle without even looking into it but saying to drive it for a while to see if still makes the noise. It really wasn't worth my time to address any issues with the car as they had no interest in fixing it. More

Dishonest at best. Salesman don't know features of car. They do not honor their own internet pricing - so if you receive a quote from them on emails, do not believe it. I did and had to waste 2 hours car. They do not honor their own internet pricing - so if you receive a quote from them on emails, do not believe it. I did and had to waste 2 hours of my time only to realize that it was a step to pull me in dealership and then readjust the price. Their experience package, which is mandatory at $695 price can be configured on Honda's own site for as little as $140. Think about the ripoff. Bottomline, if you still end up at their dealership, tell them you are their to get price at the internet quote and you would only pay for tax, title and motor vehicle fee. The only other fee is dealer documentation fee which should be about $299-$399. If they stick more prices on top of it such as destination fee, experience package fee - you know its time to walk out of their dealership and save your time Hope this was helpful. More

Have you ever been to a dealership that created you like you were part of their family from the first time you walked into the showroom? PLANET HONDA is just that type of dealership! I just want to share ho you were part of their family from the first time you walked into the showroom? PLANET HONDA is just that type of dealership! I just want to share how I experienced the most outstanding personal care as a consumer. First of all, this is my second time dealing with PLANET HONDA for my SUV Pilot my first purchase was a 2011 Pilot and the services were EXCELLENT in every way even with follow-up calls and making sure that my SUV was service properly. Trust me they will call you when it’s time for service so that you could get the most mileage for you travels which we know we all need in today’s economy. Secondly of all, when it came to me buying a second SUV of course I came back to PLANET HONDA to purchase my 2014 Honda Pilot and again I was created like family again which allowed me to see and know that their service is just like being at a family reunion nothing has changed. PLANET HONDA went beyond the call of duty and was able to deliver on everything that was promised during the sale of the SUV.I was able to see and know in my mind that this dealership is #1 when it comes to their customers. Their customers are their #1 need and as I looked around when I was purchasing my 2014 Pilot everyone in the showroom was engaged in a positive manner with their customers. What a Dream Team they are: the director of sales Eddie Amorin makes sure that everyone is taking care of like family along with the Sales Manager Chigbo Mbaekwe, Kaleem Wyne the Sales and Leasing Consultant (who sold me my 1st & 2nd Honda Pilot) and Levie Frinks the Business Manager. It was just a pleasure to see that it was just like being at a family reunion with people who care that you get the most for your money and of course your time. Even the individuals that I preferred have made purchases and have enjoyed their patience with their customers. It you want a GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT IS #1 you must visit PLANET HONDA on Route 22 West in Union, NJ and you will have an enjoyable experience just like having a family reunion. This dealer is the worst. Don't deal with them! After they get your money they don't care about you. I leased a new Honda FIT EV (Plug-In Electric) from Honda Corporate that is available in a very After they get your money they don't care about you. I leased a new Honda FIT EV (Plug-In Electric) from Honda Corporate that is available in a very limited market region. Planet Honda is the only dealer near me that Honda is using for the technical trial for the Fit EV. I really had no choice but to use this dealer, or go to a dealer in New York or Paramus NJ. I signed the lease agreement provided by Honda to the dealer in March. In early June I received notification from Honda that they have reduced the monthly lease rate for the car for new leases AND EXISTING LEASES beginning with the June 2013 payment. Good News. Since I prepaid the NJ sales tax for the entire 36 month lease in advance (at the higher monthly rate), I am now due a refund of the excess sales tax paid because the last 36 months lease payment are reduced by $130/month. The excess tax that should be refunded to me equals $300.30. I contacted Bill Feinstein, the general manager about this, and he said "We do not refund the difference as it was paid to the state - you need to apply via your accountant." First of all, I don't have an accountant, nor do I have a relationship with the State of New Jersey sales tax department for collecting or refunding taxes. This dealer would not even work with me to help resolve the problem. In a normal retail environment, I I were to return an item, or even get a partial refund for some reason (price match etc.) the retailer would refund the sales tax on the refunded amount. Actually I think this is the law. BOTTOM LINE: If this dealer is unwilling to cooperate in providing the tax refund due me (a mere $300), imagine what type of customer service they would provide for more substantiol issues!
