Deceptive practices. Bait and switch. We thought it was going to be such an easy process dealing with them. Walked in and said we were interested in a new gv80. Went on a Bait and switch. We thought it was going to be such an easy process dealing with them. Walked in and said we were interested in a new gv80. Went on a great test drive in a new gv80. Then we left to get lunch. Later I called to ask for pricing for a new black gv80. Their pricing was fair and we moved forward with the purchase. A couple hours before we were going to walk in to sign and pick up the car the sales rep called asking if it was okay if there was 7,000, yes 7,000 miles, on the "new" car. Of course we said no and they kept trying to say that the car was new. That was 1 year worth of miles driven on that car. Then they said the pricing they gave us for a new car wasnt for a new car with no miles. Complete deceptive practices. I wouldn't trust a word they say. More

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1-Star Review – Misleading Experience at Genesis of Highland Park On Saturday, June 27, 2026, I traded in my 2026 Genesis GV70 2.5T Advanced AWD and leased a 2026 Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD Highland Park On Saturday, June 27, 2026, I traded in my 2026 Genesis GV70 2.5T Advanced AWD and leased a 2026 Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD from Genesis of Highland Park. Before I ever went to the dealership, I handled the entire transaction over the phone with Sales Manager Yaniel. I clearly explained every specification I wanted, especially that the exterior color had to be Uyuni White. Yaniel assured me he had a vehicle with everything I requested, including the correct color. When I arrived at the dealership, I met salesperson Mohammed Alghzawi and again confirmed the color with Yaniel. He told me he had personally checked the Monroney window sticker and guaranteed the vehicle was Uyuni White. Based on those repeated assurances, I signed the lease documents. Had I been told the truth that the vehicle was actually Alta White, I would never have signed the lease. The following day, Sunday, June 28, after the dealership entered the VIN into my Genesis Connected Services account, I discovered the vehicle was actually Alta White. I then found the original Monroney window sticker in the glove compartment, and it clearly stated Alta White. When I contacted Yaniel, he admitted he had made a mistake by telling me the vehicle was Uyuni White without verifying it first. On Monday, June 29, another dealership employee called to congratulate me on my purchase. After I explained what had happened, I was told they would speak with Yaniel and try to locate the same vehicle in the correct Uyuni White color. On Wednesday, July 1, the dealership owner called me, and I explained everything again. He told me he would speak with Yaniel and asked me to return the next morning. On Thursday, July 2, I returned as requested, but the owner never came out to meet me. Instead, Yaniel told me there was nothing they could do because the lease had already been funded. He again admitted the mistake but said I had to keep the vehicle. I was also disappointed that the vehicle had not been properly prepared before I drove it home. While I was signing the paperwork and waiting for the vehicle, it was still in Shipping Mode and displayed a low windshield washer fluid warning. Those are basic pre-delivery inspection items that should have been addressed before delivering a new luxury vehicle. This experience was never about trying to get a discount or return a vehicle. It was about honesty and relying on the information provided before signing a legally binding lease. The dealership admitted the mistake, led me to believe it would be corrected, and then refused once the lease was funded. I cannot recommend Genesis of Highland Park. My advice is to personally verify every detail, especially the Monroney window sticker, before signing any paperwork. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances, even from management. I hope Genesis Motor America reviews how this situation was handled because customers purchasing a luxury vehicle deserve honesty, transparency, and accountability. More

Mixed feelings. First I was told all vehicles leave with a full tank of gas. Well mine left with 3/4. I didn’t buy a Genisis. They had a used truck I wanted. The whole purchase portion was smooth and pleasant. 2 days later I get pulled over for my plate sticker. New plates from dealer. Nothing printed on it. No year or plate #. I get let go with a warning. I call dealer and let them know their screw up. Couple days later I’m told they are mailing me a new one. A week later I hear it’s lost in the mail. I’m told the state only allows one reprint. I’m now told I have to go take care of their mistake. They will cover the cost of the sticker. Not the time I have to leave early from work due to when the DMV closes. W re all m ow how bad it sucks going to the DMV. After I tell them they can order one online from DMV for $20 and have it mailed to me I get no response. I personally will never go back. More

I would say the people in Genesis of Highland Park are not my business partners. They are more likely my families. After failing to find such a faithful dealer, I eventually had met the best customer care not my business partners. They are more likely my families.
