Yvonne always takes great care of us. The work is done quickly and with great care. I won’t ever take my RDX to another dealership, and Yvonne is the only service advisor that I will use. Been dealing with this dealership since I moved to Georgia. Everytime I visit I have a great experience. Leased 2 vehicles from here and servicing my vehicles here have been great. Three outstanding visits, but the fourth.... horrendous! I have come to Jackson Acura for all my needs after having an amazing experience with Reggie Hammond selling me two cars with a third on the way. I wi I have come to Jackson Acura for all my needs after having an amazing experience with Reggie Hammond selling me two cars with a third on the way. I will never doubt his efforts and the sales side of this place - remarkable! I decided since then this would be my place for service when in need of issues looked at. I had two warranty jobs done here, one insurance claim taken care of - all went smooth each time. I worked with Brittiany who has moved on to better places, Yvonne, Pat -- all great, kind and polite individuals. Suddenly, everything went downhill when I needed a new engine in my 2 year old car still under warranty. The Service Manager Rodney, showed absolutely no care for a return client, zero sympathy, remorse, or understanding, no effort whatsoever to help me. I was refused a loaner during this time where my vehicle was literally disabled and un-driveable - something that DOES NOT conform to the Acura promise and standard regardless of situation. I was cornered into paying a diagnostic fee for a vehicle under warranty for an issue caused due to a (now) confirmed manufacture defect. I understand had the issue been diagnosed and found to be my responsibility due to negligence if proven, that I would owe the diagnostic fee and choice of further repair and costs; but until then I should not have been turned away, cornered to no options, on a car UNDER WARRANTY, nor treated like I was a complete idiot failing to maintain my vehicle (after providing the only and sufficient enough service records that I did have). Excuses thrown my way blaming unrelated parts for the engine failure, blaming my service intervals just because I drive more efficiently than the vast majority, singled out to do nothing but leave me responsible to a payment for an unknown issue on a leased car. On top of that with the engine requiring to be looked at, I was told because there's "too much work and too many components" they aren't going to do anything unless I pay. Excuse the xxxx out of me, but I don't give a rats xxx if there's a 5 minute job or a 5 hour job, you don't get to pick and choose what work does or doesn't get done under warranty covered by Acura. Whether its a light bulb, a body panel, window, or the whole chassis, you are Acura service and you acknowledge those Acura warranties. You DO NOT make a customer pay until you can prove something. We aren't talking about 100k miles or a 10 year old car here. I have lots of people I know that have been working in Acura for 20+ years and I know the things that sometimes should or could be done for a client and with this situation there could have been several exceptions done with zero cost to the dealership, or service. Rodney just did not care and had no interest to help someone like myself in such a dire situation. COVID-19 was used as the perfect excuse for them to not give me a loaner, but instead while now stranded, they wanted to stick myself, a First Responder, and my pregnant high risk wife into a taxi service with a stranger to get us home. The point here is we needed a safe ride home, one that could have been wiped down and one where I could get myself to my critical job. Acura failed miserably during this time and I am appalled with the way this situation was handled by this service department. I may go see Reggie and sales for a stellar deal because I can be loyal, but apparently service can't seem to do the same or be on the same page. At the end of the day, those service advisers are going to be kind people who will most likely genuinely try to help you. But the sad part, they are just the "middle man"-- and when things are run by a manager like Mr. Jones and big shot Mr. Jackson himself who turn their backs on clients, it would be a matter of time they do the same to their employees if and when the times come. Needless to say, I got corporate very well involved along with AFS, I got my new engine and now I know where I'll be going to service from now on especially after learning that Jackson Acura is one of those dealerships who time and time again fail at honoring warranty work to people, making them turn elsewhere. More
