I am a loyal Mercedes owner and have been 30+ years. I have purchased MBs from all over the country. Every now and then, unforeseen things arise and you need help from the dealership. About a week ago I I have purchased MBs from all over the country. Every now and then, unforeseen things arise and you need help from the dealership. About a week ago I bought a CPO car for cash remotely and paid full price plus shipping. It was a gift for my wife, and she just wasn’t a fan of the car. I immediately called them and asked if they would take the car back and allow me to pay whatever it took so they would not be out of pocket. I got a hard no. So there is a dealer in my city who agreed to take the car on consignment and needed the dealership to help him with the transaction. Another hard no. Their advice to me: trade it in on what you want, you won’t take much of a hit. “There is nothing we can do to help you.” Which is a lie. They could have helped but they didn’t want to. 5 years ago I bought a MB from a dealer in Orlando, there were issues with the car, and they took it back— they did the right thing even though they could have said no. MB St Charles is good at saying no. Everything is nice until something comes up after the sale and you need their help. You wont get it. Sometimes you do the thing that helps a customer, even when you don’t have to. That is going over and beyond, but sadly these guys don’t even know what that means. Buyer Beware of this pathetic dealership. More
