The overall purchasing and service experience was very good. I have bought two trucks and a Rav 4 from this dealership. All dealings have been great. The new truck developed an air compressor problem on the 2nd day that I owned it. The problem was fixed and all is good. However, being a business owner, knowing that this problem existed with these trucks I would have some kind of customer inconvenience gift card in place to offset the inconvenience of having to return a new automobile for repair!! Some people may not be as understanding as me. Keep up the good work. More

I recently purchased a vehicle from Scranton Toyota. The situation I presented Teresa with was a difficult one. The loan on my previous vehicle was upside down and the car I hoped to tade had little value. situation I presented Teresa with was a difficult one. She constantly reassured me that if one vehicle didn't work we would find one that would. Her knowledge of the cars we looked at was excellent. The finance team also did a great job at getting me the lowest payment possible with the best coverage on my new car. After the sale was complete, Teresa helped me set up functions in my car (like bluetooth). Teresa, along with the finance team, stayed after the closing time to make sure I was set. A few days after I drove my new car home, I reveived a follow-up call from Teresa. I had an amazing experience at Toyota of Scranton! I don't think I will shop at a different dealership again. I have already reccommended Teresa to a coworker who is looking for a new Toyota. I love my Toyota and I think a big part of that is the great service I received at Toyota. More

Why, because I have been stoping in every year waiting for the Rav4 to change it's look and even though Taryn knew I wasn't ready to buy she still had time to talk and discuss the cars and my options. Overall VGOOD but feel I was misinformed with the purchase of GAP insurance and want to cancel it. Found out that I can get it at a much cheaper rate from my own insurance company. I didn't realize just how much the reputation and service of a dealer mattered until I received beyond superior attention and care at Toyota Scion of Scranton. This establishment and everyone in it really goes the extra mile to make me, the customer, feel special. My auto purchase (and I am a first time buyer) from start to finish including selecting the vehicle, loan process & approval, getting a great price, all phone calls and paperwork was complete in less than a day! Response time for phone calls, emails, nevermind the courtesy of everyone I met there, was outstanding. This will make it memorable in my mind forever. I have always said that good service is hard to remember and bad service hard to forget, but after today I will always know there is good service, and then there is exceptional service, and Toyota Scion of Scranton I will never forget! I originally went to a different Toyota dealer that I passed every day going to work. I knew I needed a new vehicle. My 4runner had 242k miles and it was time. And being a loyal Toyota driver I knew my n passed every day going to work. I knew I needed a new vehicle. My 4runner had 242k miles and it was time. And being a loyal Toyota driver I knew my next vehicle needed to be a Toyota. I did all my homework and had all my financing. So I just needed to pick a new vehicle out. I went to this other dealer and 2 weeks later and coutless phone calls and visits and hours of my time...still no vehicle...because" that model doesn't come that way". Extremly frustrated I went through USAA's car buying Service and they directed me to Scranton Toyota. When going through this service Scranton Toyota autimatically is notified with contact information. And so it begins... Within an hour I had been called and e-mailed. Because it was during work hours I asked that most of my communication be via e-mail. That was not a problem. I had given all my vehicle criteria with the car buying service and within 24 hours (actually I'm sure it was more like 12) Mark e-mails me and has located the vehicle. Within 72 hours (okay, 96 hours) I was there picking up my new Rav4. So Thanks to Mark and Doug within 96 hours I had the best car buying experience ever. And drove away in a new vehicle that another Toyota dealer said didn't exist but Scranton Toyota found. More
I must say, I was a little nervous about taking my car back to the dealership for work. The wait times are always long and the problems with my car were never really explained by the mechanic. I was always just given a list of repairs that always seemed inflated. This time around was so much different! A few months ago I took the car in because it was making some strange noises on the highway (I waited a while before sending this because I wanted to see if the noise came back, as it usually does after a week or so). The mechanic, Mike, came out to talk to me about the problem. He explained things in terms I understood! He was very kind and patient with me, and I felt very comfortable leaving the car in his hands. When I got the car back and drove it home, the noise was gone. After a few weeks, the noise didn't return and I haven't had any other issues with it since. Honestly, I was thinking about trading it in, but it runs so well now I think I'll keep it for quite a while. Mike's professionalism and customer service skills are second to none! I have never been treated so well in all my dealings with this dealership or any other, for that matter. He is a great asset to this dealership and any time I need an oil change or whatever else, I will ask for him! Thanks Mike! More
