They didn't waste my time. - John Massey
Derrick Young was our salesman. I called him and told him what we were looking for, when we arrived he took us straight to several vehicles which met our criteria. The finance specialist,Willie Briggs really knew his business as well. A short time later we drove away in our new vehicle. We will buy from them again.

My experience was awesome! - cargirl03
Buying my car was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. From the salesman who was very knowledgeable and helpful to the finance manager who was exceptional and took the time to make sure I understood all of my options and everything I signed. Would absolutely go there to buy another car.
I love this place, Awesome customer service - Micaraluna
Bob Willard was excellent with communicating and I told him what I had and what I wanted and he pulled through. He didn't give me the run around or tried to convince me in to getting something else. He was honest and very helpful, with my schedule I couldn't just drive to their location for they are an hour and 20 min from me. He worked with me via internet and got everything done for me, all I had to do was come in sign papers pay my deposit and drive off with my 2014 Veloster which I love by the way. I was shocked that I was even able to get approved because of my credit, but he found a bank that would work with me and he got me in the payments that I wanted with the deposit I had down. I am absolutely in love with this car, and Bob made my car buying experience excellent. This car dealership is awesome, they didn't make me feel pressured and he didn't let me down. I would gladly send everyone I know to them. Thank you so much for your excellent hard work.

Purchase of A New Car - CLT
I just purchased a Lincoln MKS from King Ford Dealership. I was very pleased with the service of everyone that I dealt with. David Breedlove was the salesman that assisted me through this process. He was very kind and very knowledgeable of the vehicles that I looked at and test drove..
I would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Great Experience! - KHigginbotham
We recently purchased a car at Valley Ford and had a great experience! Everyone was very courteous and helpful. I found the exact vehicle I had been looking for here - and even though it wasn't a Ford, they went out of their way to make sure to address our concerns promptly and efficiently. It was very appreciated and made it a pleasant experience! Chad Tidwell was a wonderful salesman and was very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend anyone to go see him when looking for your next car! Thanks Valley Ford and Chad!
Professional Experience - Kevin in Huntsville
I drove more than 150 miles to view a truck that I saw online that interested me. My experience with Buster Miles Ford was excellent. My sales associate, Rocky, was extremely professional, honest, and understanding. We reached an agreeable price within a few minutes, as I had conducted research on the vehicle and came to the dealership with the KBB fair market price printout. They sold me the truck at very close to this amount and agreed to deliver the truck to my home, as part of the purchase price, since I was not trading in a car, but was purchasing the truck as an additional vehicle.
Denise - Aunt Chele
Denise was very nice, helpful, and well-manered. It was a pleasure buying a vehicle from her. If I am need of a vehicle again, I would go see her first.
Two Cars Purchased in a Couple of Weeks - JSSegroves
Bought a new Explorer - great experience. Long Lewis takes the stress out of buying with no-hassle, price is as marked and sales staff is not on commission. Debbie Sanderson cares about her customers - saw it in real-time with us and other customers while we were there. Called her back a few weeks later with an additional vehicle need and "got right on it" - we ended up buying a used F150 for our son to use to go off to college.
Great buying Experience - Cheryl Sheppard
This was only my second new car I have ever bought and it was just a great experience. I told them what I wanted and the price I was looking for. They went above and beyond my expectations. I recommend them to all my friends and familey.

I am thoroughly excited happy and satisfied with my recent vehicle purchase. I bought a 2015 Ford Mustang V6. My dealer Kyle was awesome and continues to stay in contact with me to help out with any concerns I may have. I bought and traded in my last car at Sunny King and if I ever decide to trade this one in then I will go back! #Awesome

Searching for second vehicle - mommydanford
I had multiple sales reps meet with me on the lot to ask if I needed help. All sales reps were very friendly and no one really pressured me at all.
Great Buying Experience - Patt
Love our truck we purchased from Jim Phillips and Townsend Ford. Will definitely be back for our next Ford purchase of a new or used vehicle.
Not satisfied - Jpar
I had my GM vehicle serviced (oil change) on April 22, 2016. I emphasized that it only held 4 quarts of oil, but the service advisor ensured me that the technicians had a chart with information for that model, which I'm sure they did, but it appears it may have been incorrect. However, I was leaving to go out of town and didn't think anymore of it. When I arrived at my destination, I checked it and it was overfilled. The owners manual has a bold note emphasizing overfilling could cause engine damage. I won't be able to address it with them for a few days, but suggest in the future to check technical data more thoroughly.
The salseman was helpfull not pushy and very personable. - JMPENNINGTON
When I bought the car, one of the extras i liked was the active backup lines. this was a major sale point to me. When I re-synced the system the active lines went away. Both dealers said that this vin did not come with the active backup lines. and I could not get them without a $2000 dollar upgrade. How were thy there in the first place? Apparently the required hardware and electronics are there. What would it take to install the active backup lines, again. Keep in mind within 6 months some one is going to crack the system. Ford should be making the profit on the active backup lines upgrade. again the hardware is there and functions I used it for 3 days before I reset the system. I am in essence being told that I have lied about the situation. This does not bode well customer relationship. the Salesman Bill was great!
"We went above and beyond to help you with your lemon" - jenstott11
Possibly the worst service department out there. Somehow I am paying for a brand new car with multiple problems which are usually rectified with an excuse and also paying for a rental car because my brand new car is sitting on their lot broken down and has been for 2 months and 1 week. I am just waiting for the storage fee bill to be mailed.I don't blame them for the lemon I bought but I do blame them for their inability to fix the problems with the car. To take the car in for brake problem and to receive a receipt back stating there is another car on the lot of the same make and model that does the same thing and then to have the brakes lock up 4 days later is crazy. Purchasing a car from them is not bad, I recommend finding another dealership for routine maintenance and warranty issues.
Very Disappointed. - Sherrie
Jeep giving all kinds of codes, then radio would go off, clock would go back to 12:00, then engine would shut off but not always. Happen over and over. Took it in they pulled the codes and when I ask what they were. They said old codes. They cleaned battery cables and tighten then up. Drove it 20 miles nothing. Told me couldn't find anything wrong. Husband drove it same thing. I put it back on my mail route. Started back coding. I do have to say in the past they have been good to me. But it seems like they have lost some really good people that worked their. They also need to upgrade the mechanics equipment bad. They are so far behind other dealerships. Just seems like to me they should have known what was wrong with my Jeep. It's still giving codes and still not fixed. But that is my work vehicle and I can't take off for days at a time for them to fix it. They never have parts sometimes they even get the wrong part in and that cost me another days pay. They also need to train more than on Chysler person to work on Chysler products. That would help so much.
Caitlin - LeannaCarr
Caitlen was amazing she helped my husband and I find the truck we were looking for, she was very kind and patient with us. She was extremely helpful
stay away - bait and switch - stay away - TroyG
Disregard my star rating, I only gave them one star because it wont let me submit with zero.
My wife and I went to buy a used car based on them having about 10 advertised in our price range. When we arrived we were informed that they had none of the advertised and only had vehicles twice as expensive ur more. The vehicles they said they didn't have were still advertised weeks later. This is the very definition of bait and switch. Stay away from these crooks!
Watch out for this place, greedy. - Troy999
I bough a truck from Long Lewis in Muscle Shoals. They messed up something in the paperwork and when I went to register it I was told I had to pay over $450 out of my pocket. I called the dealer and they admitted they made a mistake but that I would have to pay it. I don't know about you, but when I make mistakes I have to pay for them. They didn't charge enough sales tax for MS, funny, they are only about 10 miles from the border so they must sell to MS people all the time, AND they have a dealership in MS! I am very disappointed that a place that sells "over 400 cars a month" wouldn't pay for THEIR mistake to keep a customer happy. If you buy from them just know that if THEY make a mistake, YOU will have to pay for it. I won't buy from them again and will not recommend them to my friends.
Liars - Angrymom
I was called saying that I was approved for 25k car loan. I was assured that I was already approved .once I arrived I was told I needed a co signer. After giving them the information for a co signer I received a call saying everything was good and we could come sign the papers. Once there they said the car could only be in the co signers name because that's the only way the bank would finance. They refused to try to add me or try another car. It was a horrible, humiliating experience.
Never again!! - Louis Carson
Bought a new 2016 Ford Fusion. Not once did I ever get call thanking us for buying a car from them. We have not gotten any offers for us doing our service work their as well. Stay!! We feel once the sale is made they don't really care if they see you again.
This is a letter of complaint about service on my truck - lash12
This is a letter of complaint about service on my truck, 1999 Ford Ranger XLT, 4cyl 2.5 , 5 speed manual transmission.
I took my Ranger to Collier Ford in Wetumpka AL. on March 7, 2014 to have the valve cover gasket, power steering pump, serpentine drive belt and sparks plugs changed. My truck was idling fine when I took it to them. When I picked my truck up it was idling very high, although it would idle down very slowly. I called Collier Ford and they said to bring it back. I took the truck back. They said they had cleaned the Throttle body while they had it off changing the vale cover gasket. Collier’s Tech checked my truck and said it had to be the IAC valve. I had to come back the next day because they did not have one in stock. The next day the Tech put a new IAC vale on but it was not a Ford part. My truck idled higher than it did when I brought it back to them. The Tech said they had this problem in the Past, so they ordered a Ford IAC valve. When the valve came in I took my truck back and the Tech put the Ford IAC valve on this slowed the idle down to where it was when I brought it back to them because of the idle.
The Service Manager drove the truck with me and agreed it was not right. I left my truck with then for two days. When I picked my truck up this time it was still idling high. The Service Manager said they had flashed the computer and I would need to drive it about 500 miles to reset it. I drove the 500 plus miles, however, when going down the road at 55 mph and let off the accelerator and push in the clutch it would take 10 seconds for the truck to idle down. Now that could be a big problem in heavy traffic. After the 500 plus miles the truck is still idling high. I took the truck back to Collier Ford. The service Manager told me this all he could do. I argued with him and he finally told me if I could find something wrong he would pay to have it fix. I took my truck to Wetumpka Tire where it was checked out by their two best Techs. Their diagnostic was it was the throttle body or the ECM. They told me to take my truck to another Ford Dealership. I took my truck to Gilmore Ford in Prattville AL. Gilmore’s Tech checked my truck and said it was the throttle cable so they ordered one and it came in and was changed a few days later. This did not fix the problem. Gilmore’s Tech flashed the ECM again. I picked up my truck and it was still idled high. The Tech said I would need to drive it 40 cycles for the computer to reset. About a month later I took the truck back to Gilmore Ford it is still idling high. The Tech said the only other possibly was the throttle body itself. I found one new throttle body at a Ford Dealership in TN. I order it myself and paid for it. Gilmore Ford installed it for me. They gave me the old part and showed me where it was damaged when cleaned. The problem was solved. My truck idles like it did before the work was done at Collier Ford. Thanks to Derick at Gilmore Ford. My truck was fixed June 6, 2014. It liked one day being three months to get my truck fixed.
I talked to the Service Manager Scott and Kim Collier Maddox at Collier Ford and asked to be reimbursed for the cost of the throttle body only
Truck falling apart - jth
Purchased 07 Ram 4x4 in January 2016. Paid asking price as I considered it fair. Later found out they were asking $6,000 more for my old truck than they gave me on trade. I checked trans fluid 3 days after purchase - it was 1.5 qts low and the transfer case fluid was 2 qts low. Within 2 or 3 weeks the lifters in the Ram started knocking. A week later the climate control fan was squealing loudly. End of May the front drive shaft U-joints failed. I paid almost $400 for U-jpoint repair, then contacted Mrs. Sherling for help with all the other issues. She had rotten attitude and said all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and repaired before offered for sale and that she would have service manager call me to set up appointment. Never heard from him. Took Ram for alignment after putting $1,000 set of tires on and was told alignment cant be done due to bad ball joints and all tie rod ends - repair estimate is $750. Totally unsatisfactory experience. Will never shop at Ed Sherling Ford again.
