I had a blow out in Huntsville and had to drive all the way back to Stevenson Alabama by myself on a donut tire. I called Geoff at Harbin to see if they had any of my size tires in stock and he said that if they didn't he would pull a brand new car in and take a tire off of it just so I wouldn't have to continue the drive home on a donut. Sure enough, he did just that! I was so appreciative of his help and glad that they are always there if I need them.

My husband and I purchased a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country from Chuck Stevens Ford. While we are very impressed with their forever warranty, we aren't happy with certain things that happened the day of purchase. We decided on a vehicle on a Saturday. We went through the purchase process while they "detailed" the vehicle". Upon completion of paperwork, my husband had to leave for an appointment. I waited for the van. When we test drove the van, the driver's rear tire was very low on pressure, (15psi). I mentioned this and the sales rep said it would be taken care of. He also had to run down to the local gas station to get gas. When I started to drive off the lot, the tire still showed 15psi of air pressure. The gas gauge was a hair above empty and the auto detailing was a joke. When I asked the salesman, he said, "I didn't have much cash so I could only get a little bit of gas and had no money for air". My husband was completely blown away that they allowed a lady to leave with not much more than a flat tire, and they didn't have money for it? They have 4 or 5 dealerships in a mile span and there was no one to access an air compressor at any of the locations. Kind of a safety issue.
Second issue, the day after purchasing the vehicle the passenger side door latching mechanism was acting up. I called the following Monday and they assured me they would take care of it. Prior to leaving the next week on vacation, I took the van in to have the tire fixed and the door serviced. They couldn't fix the door, as they said they didn't have the expertise that the Chrysler service department had. They fixed the tire....if you want to call it that. They plugged it and the plug came out 1 1/2 weeks later. I ended up taking it to a local tire repair business and he showed me the where it had been plugged. The tire repairman patched the tire the correct way.
The door has continually got worse....it comes ajar while driving down the road. Seriously a safety hazard. When I talked to our salesman, he said that since we didn't buy the bumper to bumper warranty we were responsible for full charges of getting the door fixed. I understand they can't be responsible for every issue forever, however, I brought the door to their attention the monday after we purchased it on saturday. I firmly believe they should repair the vehicle! Neither here nor there. My husband said that since they would not make it right, we would take it to our HONEST mechanic to have it fixed. His confidence in their service department is lacking. His statement to me, "if they can't fix a tire, what makes you think they can fix a door latching mechanism"? Point taken.
So....my review is 2 stars in stead of 1 simply because we are confident in the actual owner, Chuck Stevens, and if he was aware of the issues, we feel like he would take care of them. He is on medical leave so we aren't able to be in contact with him. Also, the forever warranty on used cars is awesome. It covers the engine, transmission, bearings....power train. That, you can't find at any other used car dealership. We feel their vehicles are very fair in price.
It's too bad they didn't fix the tire correctly and the door. I would have given them 5 stars, had they satisfied me.

He was extremely kind and helpful, and the General Manager was also very kind when I met him. This is an exceptionally fine dealership, who will assist an individual, with exceptional kindness and integrity of service. I had purchased this used Lincoln about a week ago from an unnamed ( non ford/ Lincoln). dealership, That dealership had not instructed me to any degree, and left some key safety issues unanswered or even unmentioned. I was therefore very grateful, for this very informative and crucially important instruction I received. at Moyer Ford from Mr. Finn. Would highly recommend Mr. Finn and the dealership, as a great place to buy a new or used car, you will get excellent service, integrity, and a great buying experience.
The service Department as well was extremely helpful, the service Manager, Mr. Tony Whaley, personally inspected some safety concerns I had. He was very informative, reassuring me about some questions and concerns I had. As mentioned above, I did not buy the car from this dealership, but would return in a heartbeat for my next car purchase. I will also be doing all of my service work at this dealership.

Then when my car arrived, he and Jaromy actually filmed a YouTube segment showing off my car! It was awesome! When I bought the car, one of the extras i liked was the active backup lines. this was a major sale point to me. When I re-synced the system the active lines went away. Both dealers said that this vin did not come with the active backup lines. and I could not get them without a $2000 dollar upgrade. How were thy there in the first place? Apparently the required hardware and electronics are there. What would it take to install the active backup lines, again. Keep in mind within 6 months some one is going to crack the system. Ford should be making the profit on the active backup lines upgrade. again the hardware is there and functions I used it for 3 days before I reset the system. I am in essence being told that I have lied about the situation. This does not bode well customer relationship. the Salesman Bill was great!
Poor planning of service appointment - don1954
I had an appointment at 8:00 in the morning to have a Ford Performance shifter installed in a 2016 Mustang. Since the install should have taken around three hours to complete I rented a car for the day so I would be available at any time the dealership called. I was called in the afternoon and told it might be the next day before it was completed. It is 10:00 AM the next day and I am still waiting for my car. The appointment system at this dealership is garbage.

We were in the area and passed through the lot of the dealership to look at a vehicle. Mr. Wynn Pierce came out to meet us and said he would be glad to show us around. We took one of his cards and left because we were in a hurry. A few days later we went back and Mr. Pierce showed us several of the Transit Connect vans we were interested in. We were not dead set on buying a new van but Mr. Pierce made us a great deal, 2,000.00 less than the closet competitor. The Transit Connect van is a excellent vehicle with luxury car like front and heavy duty cargo space in the back. To top it off, six weeks after our purchase, Mr. Pierce sent us a rebate check we had no idea we were entitled to. I have been to Ed Sherling a few times and the guys in the service department went above and beyond to accommodate me. They have worked with me on the price of the service, they have done an oil change without an appointment. I was on my way to fish a tournament and got a nail in my tire, and the service rep went in the back and plugged my tire so I could get on the road. I have had multiple problems with a big named service company and they have tried to ruin my truck. I will not go back to anyone else except Ed Sherling. Also, the guys who work in the parts department are awesome too. They have gone above and beyond to find the right parts when I have needed them. They are also going to order my lift, tires and wheels for my truck. I recommend you get to know the employees at Ed Sherling Ford and let them get to know you. Ms. Sherling called me tonight and asked me about my experience at her dealership. I told her that I will not be taking my truck to anyone else while I am in Enterprise. She asked me to tell her if I ever have anything negative to say, I told her that I would. I believe if you want good service, you need to get out and introduce yourself and deal with people face to face. Just for calling me, Ms. Sherling will have my business and you should give them a fair shot at earning yours.

Jeep giving all kinds of codes,then radio would go off, clock would go back to 12:00, then engine would shut off but not always. Happen over and over. Took it in they pulled the codes and when I ask what they were. They said old codes. They cleaned battery cables and tighten then up. Drove it 20 miles nothing. Told me couldn't find anything wrong. Husband drove it same thing. I put it back on my mail route. Started back coding. I do have to say in the past they have been good to me. But it seems like they have lost some really good people that worked their. They also need to upgrade the mechanics equipment bad. They are so far behind other dealerships. Just seems like to me they should have known what was wrong with my Jeep. It's still giving codes and still not fixed. But that is my work vehicle and I can't take off for days at a time for them to fix it. They never have parts sometimes they even get the wrong part in and that cost me another days pay. They also need to train more than on Chysler person to work on Chysler products. That would help so much.

I bough a truck from Long Lewis in Muscle Shoals. They messed up something in the paperwork and when I went to register it I was told I had to pay over $450 out of my pocket. I called the dealer and they admitted they made a mistake but that I would have to pay it. I don't know about you, but when I make mistakes I have to pay for them. They didn't charge enough sales tax for MS, funny, they are only about 10 miles from the border so they must sell to MS people all the time, AND they have a dealership in MS! I am very disappointed that a place that sells "over 400 cars a month" wouldn't pay for THEIR mistake to keep a customer happy. If you buy from them just know that if THEY make a mistake, YOU will have to pay for it. I won't buy from them again and will not recommend them to my friends.

When we arrived we were informed that they had none of the advertised and only had vehicles twice as expensive ur more. The vehicles they said they didn't have were still advertised weeks later. Customer service on this dealership service center is NON existent. Being in Birmingham on business trip my brand new Ford Explorer 2016 with 8,600 miles on it stalled in the middle of the traffic. Likely nobody rear ended me and I escaped unharmed. It was real life threatening situation. Turned out Electronic Trottle Body broke down. Repair time to replace it is about 30 minutes. This is common problem for most of Ford cars and it's unbelievable that they sell cars that are really DANGEROUS to drive. Just read the reviews. No recall for this problem is issued by Ford. Car was towed to the nearest Ford location Adamson Ford. It all happened in Thursday around noon. Ford haven't offered any loaner car or arranged rental even when I asked for it. I explained that I'm in Birmingham on business trip and had to leave on Saturday morning. They promised to call me and update on the status of repair. They never did. I had to call them Friday three times and asked and begged to fix my car so I could drive it home. Service advisor Bradley Evans acted like he doesn't give a xxxx about me and my problem. He told me that is the earliest they could even take a look on my car is Monday next week but he wasn't sure they will. I had to drive rental car home and eventually drive back 300 miles to Birmingham to pick up my car when it is finally fixed. Buy Ford car or service it on Adamson Ford dealership service center only if you are into some sort of S&M and like to be treated like dirt.

This is a letter of complaint about service on my truck, 1999 Ford Ranger XLT, 4cyl 2.5 , 5 speed manual transmission.
I took my Ranger to Collier Ford in Wetumpka AL. on March 7, 2014 to have the valve cover gasket, power steering pump, serpentine drive belt and sparks plugs changed. My truck was idling fine when I took it to them. When I picked my truck up it was idling very high, although it would idle down very slowly. I called Collier Ford and they said to bring it back. I took the truck back. They said they had cleaned the Throttle body while they had it off changing the vale cover gasket. Collier’s Tech checked my truck and said it had to be the IAC valve. I had to come back the next day because they did not have one in stock. The next day the Tech put a new IAC vale on but it was not a Ford part. My truck idled higher than it did when I brought it back to them. The Tech said they had this problem in the Past, so they ordered a Ford IAC valve. When the valve came in I took my truck back and the Tech put the Ford IAC valve on this slowed the idle down to where it was when I brought it back to them because of the idle.
The Service Manager drove the truck with me and agreed it was not right. I left my truck with then for two days. When I picked my truck up this time it was still idling high. The Service Manager said they had flashed the computer and I would need to drive it about 500 miles to reset it. I drove the 500 plus miles, however, when going down the road at 55 mph and let off the accelerator and push in the clutch it would take 10 seconds for the truck to idle down. Now that could be a big problem in heavy traffic. After the 500 plus miles the truck is still idling high. I took the truck back to Collier Ford. The service Manager told me this all he could do. I argued with him and he finally told me if I could find something wrong he would pay to have it fix. I took my truck to Wetumpka Tire where it was checked out by their two best Techs. Their diagnostic was it was the throttle body or the ECM. They told me to take my truck to another Ford Dealership. I took my truck to Gilmore Ford in Prattville AL. Gilmore’s Tech checked my truck and said it was the throttle cable so they ordered one and it came in and was changed a few days later. This did not fix the problem. Gilmore’s Tech flashed the ECM again. I picked up my truck and it was still idled high. The Tech said I would need to drive it 40 cycles for the computer to reset. About a month later I took the truck back to Gilmore Ford it is still idling high. The Tech said the only other possibly was the throttle body itself. I found one new throttle body at a Ford Dealership in TN. I order it myself and paid for it. Gilmore Ford installed it for me. They gave me the old part and showed me where it was damaged when cleaned. The problem was solved. My truck idles like it did before the work was done at Collier Ford. Thanks to Derick at Gilmore Ford. My truck was fixed June 6, 2014. It liked one day being three months to get my truck fixed.

Possibly the worst service department out there. Somehow I am paying for a brand new car with multiple problems which are usually rectified with an excuse and also paying for a rental car because my brand new car is sitting on their lot broken down and has been for 2 months and 1 week. I am just waiting for the storage fee bill to be mailed.I don't blame them for the lemon I bought but I do blame them for their inability to fix the problems with the car. To take the car in for brake problem and to receive a receipt back stating there is another car on the lot of the same make and model that does the same thing and then to have the brakes lock up 4 days later is crazy. Purchasing a car from them is not bad, I recommend finding another dealership for routine maintenance and warranty issues.

I purchased a vehicle from here September 19,2015. I had spoken with a sales rep Jackie Banks. For hours throughout that day which was a Friday he called me to varify information an for me to email and fax him everything that he needed. Upon my arrival after work NOTHING was together, I waited almost 2 hours to see the car in question. It was close to 9pm before I left an still no paperwork was done. I had agreed to get the car I looked at an they allowed me to test drive it home an bring it back the very next day at my appointed time. Once I arrived it took almost an hour for him to see me. The finance manager must have thought that by me being a woman I was completely ignorant and tried to give me extremely high interest rates! I did my homework prior to contacting them about the car in question an had visited other dealerships. It was literally a flat out war between us an when my fiancé would jump in with his opinion the finance manager would rudely interrupt him an say that his name wouldn't be on the car so it needed to be only me speaking with him. HOW RUDE! So I got the car anyway, 2011 Dodge nitro. It has now been a year since I purchased it an we have replaced the alternator, a starter, a hose, timing belt, radiator an now have to get a flywheel!!! I have never had to do so much to a car in one year!!! The service here sucks, you can't even get anyone on the line in the service department. Now I'm looking for a great mechanic to fix my car because I refuse to continue to try getting in touch with Strivers to fix it. I love my car but for a car with less than 75k miles it should not have this much trouble!!!!
