The sales process with Salina was great. She wasn't high pressure, was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, made us feel comfortable/happy with our purchase. I wish we would have been given more information upfront on the extended warranty as this process felt a little bit rushed, which is why we gave the financing process only an average score. We left happy with the decision to purchase of the car we got, but questioning whether or not we made the right decision purchasing the extended warranty. In all fairness, it was the last sale of the night, but it would have been nice to have been forewarned. It was not something we even considered prior to going upstairs to finish the financing paperwork.

These people are honest and hard-working. Their sales department is not at all pushy, and their service department knows its stuff. The only real criticism I have is that they are a Volkswagen dealership, and not something classier like Audi. I've never really liked Volkswagen much as a company, but I buy their cars any way, because they are cheap and reliable.

My wife and I had not purchased a new car since 2018. We were recently pressed into purchasing a new car and as it turns out, we had a need to purchase two cars. After weeks of careful research, we determined that the best value for the type of autos we were in the market for came from Volkswagen. We settled on a new Tiguan for the first car. I searched high and low for the model we wanted. We made an appointment at a different dealership, only to be turned away upon our arrival. The other dealer claimed they had sold the Tiguan we wanted only minutes before we arrived. My opinion is that this other dealer lied to us. We had test driven the Tiguan at Oak Lawn VW, so we decided to go back and try to find a car that fit our needs. Jeffery Keubeng worked with us, and we settled on an inbound Tiguan. At that point, we put a deposit on the Tiguan and waited for its arrival. During our waiting period, a need for another car came up. Again, after careful research including new and used cars, we landed on a new Jetta. We went back to Jeffery and were able to purchase a new Jetta before the Tiguan arrived. As far as the process goes, purchasing a new car takes waaaay too long. I don’t think this is exclusive to Oak Lawn VW, but it took 4 hours to complete the paperwork for the Jetta and 2-1/2 hours to complete the paperwork for the Tiguan. Early indications on the cars themselves are extremely positive. The Jetta is driven mainly by my 16-year-old daughter. It is the perfect car for a teenager. All the necessary tech was included (blind spot monitor, autonomous braking, lane departure warning, etc.), which makes me feel secure when my daughter takes the car. My wife loves her new Tiguan. It drives really smooth; the interior is complementary to commuting and the technology makes her feel safe. The large sunroof is luxurious. The wireless charging station is convenient. I recommend Oak Lawn VW for your auto needs and would ask for Jeffery when you are ready to buy. Also, Kevin Boyle, the business manager, was helpful in trying to move the process quicker.

Drove almost an hour away here to possibly trade in my lease early and to test drive a used car. There were a lot of issues with my lender that made the sales staff go through more hoops than they had to but they were persistent and went out of their way to get me in my car and at the price I was comfortable with. You don’t get this kinda of service anywhere. Tom Ibrahim & Adnan Hebibovic took my experience above and beyond my expectations. The only downside of my experience is that they denied my offer of buying them a drink. It is what it is I guess. Thanks again guys, you guys really were awesome!!

I was having issues with my valve stem covers being corroded onto my valve stems and I drove to Autohaus of Peoria first thing in the morning, in hopes of getting it fixed as every other place I went to turned me around and refused to help. They got me in right away and replaced my valve stems, highly recommend if you’re having car issues and your usual mechanic is closed to go here and get help! Thank you so much to the service department and the technicians who worked on my car. Also gave me a free wash and vacuum after it got fixed.

Moe is very knowledgeable about the ID.4 and was able to answer all our questions. He moved us through the process but did not pressure to close the sale or try to add in accessories we didn’t need. Bought a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 from here and let me tell you this is the absolute best experience I have had buying a car in my life. First off the car was immaculate and absolutely perfectly well maintained and they did an absolutely fantastic job showing me the car and making sure I was happy with the experience. I absolutely love this car and the experience I had with the team there was icing on the cake as not only was it an easy purchase but it was truly a fun one as well! I dealt with both Zach and Alex for this car purchase mainly and Zach made sure I was well informed on the vehicle and did not try to pressure me during the experience at all. The car itself was truly immaculate for the year and it was clear the team at Dixon took care to make sure this vehicle was show ready and needed nothing. These are hard cars to come by and even harder to find somewhere that wants to make sure they are well taken care of before releasing them to a new owner so I very much appreciate the fact that they took the care it deserved to make it an unbelievable find and purchase. Alex did the paperwork for me and gave me a great deal on a warranty! An affordable warranty on a 1998 car and even moreso a Jaguar is absolutely unheard of but they did not disappoint. Not only was he detailed and polite during the whole experience but he knows how to make the process quick and fun. Truly was smiling ear to ear throughout the whole experience. I cannot say enough about my experience and the team at Dixon Ford VW. It is a small town dealer and they truly know how to take care of a customer throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a service department that truly cares about its customers and does exceptional work, this IS the place to go. While there are several locations nearby where I can get my VW Beetle serviced, I choose to drive an hour to Marion, Illinois because of the quality of service, kind staff, and knowledgeable technicians. My Beetle is my baby, and this service department treats her as such, even going as far as remembering my car’s name, Stella. The folks at Volkswagen of Marion always do an excellent job but it was my visit in April 2023 when the team showed me just how exceptional their service can be, especially Brian Evans and Rich Lewis. They stayed in contact with me while their technicians team spent several days pinpointing what was wrong with my car. My biggest concern was having some form of transportation during this time. Well, they quickly squashed that concern by giving me a vehicle to drive while mine was in the shop. When my Beetle was fixed, they brought it back to me looking brand new inside and out with gas in the tank. As a woman, dealerships and service departments can be intimidating. Historically, the automotive industry has been male-dominated, and as a result, women are sometimes stereotyped as not knowing much about cars. Luckily, it’s not like that at the Volkswagen of Marion service department. If I could, I’d give the service department at Volkswagen of Marion way more than a five-star rating as they continue to exceed my expectations.

Seeking legal action against this dealership. Sold my daughter a car stating never been wrecked. We ran carfax report and car had 2 serious accidents. She tried to bring it back within the first 10 minutes leaving dealership. Car clunks and shakes terrible in rear end. Called them asap and told her they were closing to bring car back tomorrow. When she brought car in the morning they told her sorry we already cashed the check!!! Paperwork does not match up, amounts are all different and my daughter signatures are on papers she’s never seen before. I asked their receptionist twice to see the actual paperwork and never received them Waited 3 hours in the waiting room to speak with general manager and he ignored us! Contacted Ford company themselves to report them and have case started, Ford attempted to contact the Sales and General managers both yesterday by phone and was told by Dixon Ford they were both out for the day. When the case manager from Ford told me that….. I was standing right outside his glass office looking at him. He hadn’t left his office the whole 3 hours we had been there. They advertise on their webpage that they are gold and blue ford certified, woman I talked to from Ford Motor Company stated they are not certified at all! Buyer beware.
