Salesman Mitch and Finance Hanna were great. Unfortunately Mitch was on his day off when the car was delivered and couldn’t check it out. We had added Xzilon for the exterior and interior. When salesman Dominick took us to the car it hadn’t even be washed. We asked him to check and he said it was done. We asked for the manager and Jimmy met us at the car. At first he too said it was done. We pointed out areas of dust and dirt on the exterior as well as a rub mark on the front bumper. Jimmy said we could buy a product at WalMart to get the rub marks out. Finally he conceded that the car wasn’t properly prepared for delivery. He told us he would get it done but couldn’t be until the next day. He did give us a loaner so we could get home. When we went back to pick it up we noticed that there was no trailer hitch extension (we had paid to have a hitch installed). We were not told the extension was extra now. Jimmy said he would order one for us free of charge and call us when it was in. Ten days later we called to check and were told it was in and to come pick it up. We haven’t mentioned that the interior door panels looked like they had been dripped on and just messy. If the interior had been treated at all then it was a poor job. We’re so disappointed that we haven’t been back. Don’t know if we will give Exeter Subaru any more business. Sad sin this was the third Outback we had bought from them and had been very satisfied up until now.

My experience with Jeff and Rob and the staff was so amazing. They were professional and caring and very patient with me as I was trading my beloved jeep of nine years. I truly love my new Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness and I will always appreciate everything they did to make my experience so seamless and truly fun. Highly recommend this whole place

I am not typically the person who writes reviews, but based on the absolutely amazing experience I had with their service department, I decided it was warranted. We had a problem with my wife’s Outback that we had already mostly diagnosed and significantly researched. My wife brought her car to another Subaru dealership to have the problem confirmed and fixed. At that dealership, she was rebuffed and told, “not to trust everything on Google” despite having the Subaru Technical Service Bulletin numbers pertaining to the problem we were having. Following that experience, I called Milford Subaru and had the pleasure of speaking with Chad, their service manager. Not only was he familiar with the issue we were having, but was knowledgeable about how to get it corrected. I felt confident that they would be able to fix the problem, and I scheduled an appointment to bring the car in. When I went to drop off the car, I had a wonderful experience with Judy. She listened attentively to everything I had tested and researched, and assured me that this was something that they had dealt with in the past. I was so appreciative of the way we were treated, how much they cared that we had a good experience, and how they hoped to change our perception of Subaru dealerships following our initial experience at the other dealership. Thank you so much!

I stopped in to check out a used SUV, Michael was very personable and great to work with, went for a test drive, he provided me with the Carfax report along with a detailed printout of vehicle cost and sales figures, he answered all my questions. He did follow up with me the next day, I explained that I decided to purchase another vehicle, he was very professional and did not try to pressure me into buying.

My husband has been a faithful Outback owner for several years. I owned an SUV comparable to the Ascent but had never driven one. I watched how my husband had no problems with driving in winter conditions; he always had better traction than I with a larger SUV. I stopped in to the new JMK Claremont Subaru to simply test drive the Ascent. Daniel Miller in sales was tremendous. The first thing he did is pop the hood and explain the special care and design of Subaru engines and additional steel reinforcements. A true professional believes in the product he is selling and the passion that Dan expressed in the safety and quality of Subaru was quite genuine and contagious. Test driving the ascent only heightened my interest more. Quality customer service and a genuine belief in one's product are priorities for me. Dan is a true professional who is committed to making your experience pleasant, informative, and to your full satisfaction. I received a full tour of the facilities, amenities when receiving service, met the sales manager, finance manager, service personnel, and having a special humane society event the same day for animal adoption was tremendous to experience at a car dealership. Caring about causes in one's community only deepened my positive experience. Though I sure hadn't planned on a new vehicle that day, I drove home in my new Subaru Ascent. I am a tough negotiator, and they respected my position and made it all work in a very fair and customer service-oriented fashion. Everyone was terrific to work with and I look forward to additional positive experiences with this dealership who makes community and customer service satisfaction their priority. I purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Capital City - Tammy Martin

I purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Capital City Subaru on 12/31/23. I needed a vehicle right away as my Volvo needed yet more expensive repairs. I spoke with Brett Cushing, Sales Consultant. He said they had a 2011 Subaru Outback that was just traded in.  He said if I don't purchase it, it would just go to auction. (I was an auto claims adjuster for 30 years which included handling total losses and having contact with salvage yards.   My guess is that the auction house would have paid $3,000 at most for the vehicle.) He went and spoke with the manager, Shawn Ramos, Sr., and came back with a price of $9,000.  The vehicle had a little less than 149,826 miles on it.  In this 1 yr 3 months I have put 10,000 miles on the vehicle.  It now has 160K miles on it.  Not long after purchasing the Subaru, it was clear to me why the vehicle was traded in.  It needed brakes and rotors, a wheel bearing, cv axle, battery, and ball joints on both sides,   Also all of the doors won't stay open and each one will keep closing when trying to put things in the vehicle, i.e. groceries.  How much for all of these repairs?     About $5,500.00.  I had all of the repairs done except for the doors and I did get a 2nd opinion for the repairs.

Avoid this dealership and service department. They will sell you an absolute lemon, with a slick smile, and expect you to be happy with it. The absolute bottom of the barrel beings populate this place. Shop for, purchase, and service your vehicle elsewhere. You'll be glad you did.
