2nd Trade In from Mullinax - tlm120305
After talking over a year about trading our Mercury Grand Marquis in, we decided with no planning to drive back to Cleveland TN on Saturday afternoon out of boredom (3hr drive for us from Kingsport, TN) to see what Mullinax Lincoln had, with really no intention of buying...just looking. After 2-3 hrs of talking to David Ware and a nice test drive with Starbucks coffee compliments of David, we left our 2nd and last Mercury trade in we bought in 2009 from them with a Black 2013 Lincoln MKT SUV! It has all the bells and whistles we wanted and more! We were very pleased with the no-pressure, relaxed atmosphere and trade experience, even after we were very straight forward of what we were looking for in a vehicle and what price range we insisted on. At the same time we were somewhat overwhelmed at how fast it all happened! We have no regrets dealing with Mullinax and their staff and they will make sure your experience is what we had, if not more!

Best Car Buying Experience Ever - grossdesign
During my visit to this dealership, I've had the pleasure to work with Hayne Hozier and Adam from the Internet sales team. My experience with Hayne over the phone was enough to believe they had my interest in mind. Adam did an excellent job showing me around the dealership and showing me my options. I'm a very particular person when it comes to vehicles and he was more than willing to find the perfect car for me. Moreover, Adam knew a great deal about the electronic options of the vehicle. Hayne also did an excellent job at mitigating all of the stresses associated with purchasing a vehicle. I had a very unique experience at this dealership and I strongly recommend this dealership.

No pressure! - Happy customer from milan
Great customer service. Great knowledge of what they sell. No pressure to purchase from them. Told us what we needed to know and let us make the choice. We have bought here before with the same service and that's why we went back. Everyone was very friendly.
Amazing Staff! - Russ
Their staff is amazing! Very reasonable prices and hospitable atmosphere. Would highly recommend them to all my friends! Knowledgeable staff too. The average amount of years at Bates is 10 for their employees!
Wendell was excellent - WD40
Wendell Brown, my salesperson, handled this transaction with perfection. He didn't push me, he gave me a fabulous price and helped me work through all the options that were available with respect to the different trucks on their lot (XLT vs Lariat vs Platinum). Very knowledgeable and transparent. Great experience. Let's hope the service department is as good.
They don't honor tire warranties fairly - mariemorris1221
I have to say if there was a star less than a 1 I would have to use that. From the other reviews, it is apparent that most people are happy with their vehicle purchases with this company, and it does appear that their main focus is on new car sales. Keeping their customer's satisfaction in service is another matter perhaps.
As for their service department I do have a major issue in that they will not honor a tire warranty on two new tires that I purchased for a total of $174.53 on June 14, 2016. The two new Kelly tires that was purchased had a 55,000 mile warranty, but the tires were sorely worn out by only 25,320 miles! Their half life was blamed on me and I was told that since they were unevenly worn, it would have indicated that the tires had not been rotated nor balanced since the time of purchase.
That is not true. I have had my car's tires both rotated as well as taken care of any other issues, but not at Jacky Jones as it is a great distance to drive from my home, and have preferred assistance in my home town of Tellico Plains. Both tires were evenly slick on the surface of the tires. That's under normal road wear on state and county roads and highways.
Both tires that I had to replace were purchased on June 29, 2017 in Tellico Plains, TN.
I will explain this in great detail in order that others might know what I encountered regarding this company's policy is for tire warranties.
On July 27, 2017 I was preparing for a trip from Tennessee to visit family in South Carolina. I always take my car to one of my local auto/tire companies to have my car checked over for road worthiness which includes checking the car's oil, fluids, tires, etc. In checking this, the man who does this informed me that my front tires (Kelly tires from JackyJones) were in such a bad state as to prove extremely hazardous to drive very many miles at all. He indicated that the overall tread on both tires were gone to the state of wires peaking through the rubber. I did look at both tires and was in total agreement with him. I had him to order two new replacements that were installed on July 29, 2017.
This car is a 2001 Ford Focus that my sister and her family gave me 4/22/2016 that was very well taken care of when she gave it to me.
When I received the car there were 4 Fuzion tires on it, two of which were in excellent condition and two that were showing some wear. These were the two that eventually needed replaced by the two Kelly tires at Jacky Jones.
I had to stand in the very hot sun for at least 1/2 hour on Monday, July 10th trying to explain to Mr. Littleton and his manager (?) who said that I should take the problem up with the manufacturer as it wasn't their problem! I won't go into details of that conversation other than to say that finally they agreed to a 20% rebate only if I purchased two new tires from them and had them installed by them. And by the way I had to pay an additional $79.95 to have them aligned. I not only felt a slap in the face but also flabbergasted that they didn't feel responsible in the least for a product they installed that failed so miserably.
I expected at least a 40-45% rebate on the tires or a refund of that much of my total purchase for the two Kelly tires that failed. Their 20% rebate on the tires only would be $31.60 and only if I purchased from them!
This is hardly what I expected from a company that is supposed to pride itself on customer satisfaction. I was treated like I was a country bumpkin female that didn't know one end of the car from the other. They didn't know that in my younger years I prided myself on knowing how to do repairs and maintenance on my own vehicles by myself, both under the hood and outside as well. I didn't just "fall off the turnip truck yesterday" Jacky Jones!
I am not a satisfied customer by any means, and if you're considering using this company, please read all of the poor reviews geared towards their "service" department. Brand new car sales might be great, but their customer service stinks as badly as a dead skunk in the middle of the road to me.
Bought Myself a Retirement Gift - Budgey017
Just pecking around on the computer saw three preowned trucks of interest at MTN. View Ford and Lincoln ,on Sunday evening. I got up Monday morning and drove over to the store to see them in person and was greeted by a great sales person " Craig Beckler" He showed me the three trucks which where no disappointment ,they were just as shown on the web site. Craig was patient and very knowledgeable answering questions while I was deciding which one I wanted. After the decision was made Craig in a very professional manner handled the paperwork and I was soon on my way in my like New Preowned F 150 witch I love." Thanks Craig" See Ya Next Time.

extra mile....didn't even try - Milburn
My family and I were visiting the Gatlinburg area for a couple of days on our way to Myrtle Beach. We had a issue of our vehicle not starting the second day, July 27th. I called road side assistance to assist, they were helpful. I called McNelly-Whaley Ford to see if I could have it towed there and I was told "no". They stated they were too busy, people were on vacation, and there was nothing that could be done for us, UNLESS WE WAITED TO WAIT UNTIL AUGUST 7TH, that was the next available opening they had for us. I find this sad. I am a Ford share holder and consultant for Ford Motor Company. Now I know why people talk bad about Ford.
Where to go to get a great car with great service - Oldschool16030

Problems with remote key - Foreten
We had a problem with a key for a 2013 Lincoln MKT. Made an appointment and they said we needed
A new key. Without thinking the key would equal a mtg payment we said ok. The cost was $331.23!
Needless to say we were amazed that a key could cost that much. I think that is just crazy that anyone could charge that much for a key replacement. We talked to the manager and he stated that was the cost.
Don't keep their promises - Ash12345
We have bought 2 trucks from autonation. Our recent truck, we were told it came with a one time free maintenance. It would cover oil change, tire rotation, windshield wipers, etc. So I make an appointment a few months later for an oil change and tire rotation. I tell them upfront I'm there for my free service. They take 2 1/2 hours to do a simple oil change, then at the end tell me they don't have anything on file saying it's free. So I drove an hour for a 2 1/2 hour oil change and paid 3xs the price. The service advisor had me speak with the used car manager, who tells me he has nothing on file. Well that is there mess up, I wouldn't drive out of my way or come up with this "free service" if it hadn't been told to me.
So the used car manager tells me bc they don't have it in their records, I have to pay for it.
It was their error!
Instead of covering a $70 oil change to keep this customer, he would rather imply I'm a liar and not admit it was their mess up for not having it on file.
We won't be back to Autonation and will not recommend this place to anyone!
Customer satisfaction at it lowest - NP-Greeneville
I bought a brand new 2016 Ford 150 in March 2016, after couple months or driving in June 2016 my vehicle just stopped on a middle of a road, vehicle started slowing down and gas paddle would not work at all and I pulled over with just momentum of the vehicle, I took it to the dealership and they were not able to find any problem, well 20 days later same thing happen and this time vehicle would not start at all, I ended up towing it and service dept were not able to find any problem as always, it took them almost a week so after 4-5 days I asked for a loaner vehicle and lucky me they actually did gave me a vehicle, well signed said that its non smoking vehicle but car it self was so dirty, it had filth all over the dashboard car was never vacuumed, I can see pet hair on the seats, I took it home and started sneezing and cough the next morning, then I did more digging and I found a rotten avocado in the trunk as soon as I folded the seats, how can you give a loaner vehicle with so much filth? BTW vehicle is not fixed and they cannot find the problem with it and they want to trade me with a new on and want me to loose 9K for a brand new vehicle that they sold me just 90 days ago. Its all a scam and they want customer to suffer.

I had my MKX serviced at Jerry Duncan Ford, and my appointment was at 1PM. I had my tires rotated and the oil and filter changed. I arrived early at around 12:30, and by 12:45, Mr Gouge, the Service Manager, already had my SUV on the rack, and they were rotating my tires. This was the BEST SERVICE, and the STAFF was VERY FRIENDLY. Jerry
Duncan Ford, will be the place, I get my cars serviced, from now on.
Have a 2011 mustang still under warranty. Joe Mahan Ford... - Spasticdog
Have a 2011 mustang still under warranty. Joe Mahan Ford in Paris,TN has done multiple repairs on auto tramsmission with no success & many other repairs that just add to the long list of troubles. The car is dangerous to drive..trying to stall on takeoff, jerking 1st & 2nd gears. Danny Dawson (service manager) has been blaming tranny problems on wife's driving habits. He was rude, blaming and told us to just drive the car on highway and try to avoid stop & go traffic in a 3 year old car! This is a learning transmission and has severe flaws which ford will not take responsibility for & fix.Joe Mahan is no help with trying to solve this problem! Having to file Lemon Law to try to get this resolved. I would not do business with Joe Mahan ford in Paris,TN. Even the manager ..Jeff Mahan...was no help to us...just tried to shake us off to get rid of us. STAY AWAY FROM JOE MAHAN FORD IN PARIS,TN!
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 with which I was having problems... - mbadams
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 with which I was having problems and took it to the service dept. and explained in detail to the Service rep what the problems were. I had to take it back in for a second time to fix the things that they were suppose to fix the first time. I will never ever take another one of my Ford vehicles to this dealer again and I will never recommend this dealer to anyone for anything!! I have been a loyal Ford owner for over 30 years and have never recieved such service as I have here.
