Good service - knowledgeable salesperson - Reno Ron 46
Shakira did a great job going through the various aspects of the truck I was interested in and was able to answer all my questions. She was very personable and a pleasure to do business with.
Thank you - lovemyride
I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. First, Mike was an absolute angel to both myself and my younger brother who helped me pick out some cars to test drive. Mike gave us the inside scoop on all of our options and treated us as if we were members of his own family. We test drove on Saturday, and I signed papers for a head start on a vehicle the same day. The plan was to pick up the vehicle on Monday after work. When my mother and I pulled into the lot on Monday, I scanned the side of the building for my new baby. When I didn't see the car, my mother excitedly pointed to the car in the front of the dealership, fitted with three large balloons. After meeting in the building to sign paperwork, Mike had me come with him to release the balloons and showed me the note that he tied to them, which read "Please watch over (my name)" This gesture meant more to me than words can express. I am a cancer survivor and current chronic illness sufferer. Mike really went above and beyond to show that he is not only a great car salesman, but also a great person, with a heart of gold. I would recommend this dealership 150% and will continue to give them my business in the future.
Wonderful! - haefnest
Mike Wall was the most pleasant and patient Sales Person that we have ever met.
He will go done as the best in our history of purchasing a vehicle! Keep up the great
work Mike. We love the car and can only hope we have the best years yet on the road.
Other staff people (Lori) was also very, very pleasant to work with at the dealership, people opening doors for you as you approach the front doors etc..........just a wonderful car buying experience!
We were a FORD only family but that all changed on Monday :>) Thank you Mike for all of the time and explanation of my new car.
Reliable Car, Reliable Dealer - AWD Dave
The Subaru is a great value. Really, the only AWD vehicles in this price range. Our sales rep., Don Ciardo, knows the vehicles. Smooth sailing through the lease with John Welke, the business mgr. A great buying experience. Our third new Subaru from Sommers.
Great first experience - Pmurph1984
Eric was a really nice guy help me purchase my first car I would definitely recommend him to friends and family made everything easy and simple
Great buying experience - Monster5
Working with Randy Mickelson was a very relaxed, easy going experience. We did not find any if the stereotype car salesman attitude. He was straight forward and very sincere. I would recommend Randy to anyone looking to get a vehicle. Thank you, Randy!
3 Car Purchases, 0 Problems. - GLAEWisconsin
I've bought 3 used vehicles from the Brodhead store over the last 2 years, each experience was easy going and hassle free for me. My most recent purchase of a 2013 Buick Enclave was excellent, I had dealt with the salesperson Jeff who helped make the whole process easy going. The staff was always super friendly for all of the times I've been there including service visits.
The purchase of a new car. - sunlit56
Went to try the GMC terrain and looking to purchase A 2016 with zero financing. Dealer couldn't find one that had what we wanted' they gave us A good deal on a 2017 that was coming in.
There to help!! - Swellservice
The service department crew is awesome! Over the years we've bought and brought all our vehicles in for service. Always thorough, always friendly and always trying to accomodate. Today was just the tops!!! I phoned with a desperate plea that we had an oil leak and I needed this vehicle for the following day. They told me to stop in and within minutes, it was up on a hoist and being worked on.
In a pinch - In a pinch
A recent side collision in my daughters new 2013 Sonic resulted in a total loss and left us in a pinch to get on the road again and in a hurry! Bob Tredinnick has been our salesman for all of our last 3 vehicles and I knew we were in good hands. My daughter picked out a used beautiful blue Equinox in superb condition and within 2 hours of coming in the door and deciding which one we wanted Bob and Finance Manager Aaron Havenor with his magic pen got us out the door in a sweet deal with no money down and low interest rate and payments she requested. I was so relieved that these two gentlemen had professionalism skills to help us through this rough spot. We will always be a customer and if you are not one yet you might want to stop in the Rice Lake Don Johnson location and meet these two men that really know how to take care of their customers! Thank you
Great experience with Josh Zimmerman - Nana Di
Great experience and very happy all around. So happy with our new Silverado 1500.. Josh was a great salesman and ended up beating everyone else's price. This was the 3rd car we have bought from Don Johnson in 10 years so that says it all..I highly recommend Josh if you are looking for a very honest , hard working salesman.
Josh spent several years serving our country and you can tell the way he he treats you with respect.
Silverado buyer - Jim W
Stopped in to look and get some pricing and trade in allowances, left with new 2016 Chevy Silverado.
Great dealership and our salesman was knowledgeable and helpful.
Terrific experience and would highly recommend.
Friendly Sales Competitive Price - 9094kent
Jim allowed me to take an extensive test drive with my 2012 GMC Yukon XL by myself. Many dealers require the salesman to accompany the buyer on test drives. I tested the vehicle on an Interstate highway, a crooked country road and on a rough & bumpy streets and it met all my expectations. Then my wife took it on a 35 mile test drive. We had the vehicle all afternoon and when I returned to the dealership there was no hard sell. Jim asked if I liked the Yukon or if I would like to test drive another of their many vehicles in stock. The price I had in mind was 1500.00 less then the quoted price and when I told Jim the price I had in mind, he agreed to sell the Yukon for the price I wanted. I would recommend Jim and the dealership to everyone & I will most likely buy my next vehicle from Jim Eckhard.
Happy new customer - JoAnn France
We traded in our Kia Optima at Les Mack after working with Wade Duncan and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Everyone we met treated us with respect and greeted us as friends. Our new Trax is exceeding our expectations.
service - ebarwick
oil chg. & filter, and car wash completed in a very timely manner.
We were treated as a valued customer even though our service
was free under warranty.
Truck purchase - ritchie355
We had e-mailed several dealers to see what kind of trucks they had on the lot. Our first stop was at Stark and we were able to find just what we were looking for. Chad was very nice to work with, was not pushy and eager to find us what we were looking for. The other staff we worked with were very friendly, reliable and willing to meet our requests. It was a pleasure doing business with all.
Parts visit - Parts buyer
I visited your parts department last week and worked with Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and freindly. After working with Ryan he directed me to the cashier where I was greeted by a young lady named Angela. In the 15 minutes I was there I knew that this must be a special place and a place I want to do future business with.
Awesome experience with a few hiccups, Loved it - LukeHaag
I purchased a 2013 Genesis Coupe at the end of March here at the "used imports" part of Zimbrick.
I worked with Carlos Pelaez and his manager Anthony Saunders. The whole experience that day was awesome. Carlos was very personable and made the whole sale very pleasant.
The first month or so of owning the car had a few hiccups that were not entirely the dealership's fault but they did everything they could to make sure I was satisfied.
The amount of effort that Carlos personally went to for me to make things right was really awesome. Seriously, do yourself a favor and ask to work with Carlos if you buy a used import from Zimbrick.
"Frustrated" - Greenlaker
"Worst truck buying experience ever" They had me so confused, the salesman would show me the options that were on the truck and the window sticker price then write the price of this truck on a piece of paper. They did not have the truck with the options that I wanted in stock. He showed me many different trucks with options, by the end of the day I did not know what price went with what truck. We finally agreed on a truck, the price the salesman said the truck was going to cost was not the same price that what the Sales Manger and Finance person put together on the agreement were not the same. All of a sudden the truck price increased, At this point they have me so frustrated that I just what to get out of their, so I signed the agreement . Would not recommend this dealer to anybody.
Take pride in what you sell!! Buyer beware! - Boomer
I recently purchased a 2013 Cadillac ATS from Parson's GM of Eagle River Wisconsin. I am completely dissatisfied with this dealership from Sales to Service. From the initial pickup of my new car, the car was not detailed, it was not waxed, not vacuumed, there were big sticker residues all over the windshield, and not even a half a tank of gas to say the least. Since it was pouring rain at the dealership for pick up, I meticulously went around my new car after I got home and found other problems. There was a big gash in the driver's front tire and wheel and the passenger side parking light was burnt out... and this car sat on their lot for 8 months without them even noticing it! After emailing my salesman as soon as I noticed these problems, I scheduled an appointment to have these looked at. Before they replaced my tire, I was immediately accused of gashing my own tire, and I stated this is the third car I purchased from you in 15 years!! I received a sarcastic comment, 'well, the customer is always right, but who's paying for this?' After they replaced my tire, I had to drive back immediately to have my TPS sensors reset since they did not set it right or even had the correct air pressure in each tire. When I saw 3 service employees standing around my new car trying to figure out how to fix a TPS service light and one of them is 'leaning up' on my new car in confusion, and to see their patches on their clothes that indicated 'Certified GM Technician', I had to laugh in disgust. I am a loyal GM buyer, but this is now making me think twice about ever buying a vehicle from this dealership again. I also felt that I was screwed over on my trade in when now I see that they're selling it for $6,847 and giving me only 3,000 for my 2008 Cobalt but telling me it wasn't worth any more than that. I'm an avid car enthusiast and take pride in my own vehicles since I was a teenager. When I traded in my 2008 Cobalt, not only did I just wax it, detailed it, but I also left my $5,000 stereo system and a second set of tires and wheels in it as a selling point hoping to get more, with not even one single scratch, dent, and hardly any rust at 128k miles!! To bring home a new car that is not even detailed or even gassed up is one thing, but to trade in my car that is cleaner, detailed, gassed up, and waxed makes me think that they only cared about making the sale and they take no pride with their vehicles on their own lot.
Excellent Service - Solais8890
I had a great salesman he worked hard to get me the price I wanted. He treated the whole family with respect overall great dealer would recommend to anyone looking for new or used vehicles.
Terrible Sales and Manager at this Location - SunnyDay
After working with a sales associate for a day and a half to purchase a truck...and waiting all morning for them to send me the purchase contract...they call and tell me they are going to sell to someone else because they were there and willing to pay more...AFTER we already negotiated the price of the truck, the price of my trade-in, and how I was going to pay for it and when I was going to come pick it up!
Terrible management and sales oversight at this location.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership.
Overall terrible experience! - justjake
After purchasing multiple vehicles at another local dealership we considered giving John Paul's a try. During the first visit we stood in the showroom for nearly 15 minutes and we're never greeted. When we asked for assistance we were asked how we got in since it was within 30 minutes of closing rather than an offer of assistance. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere. However, we recently returned reluctantly to this dealership and again had another awful experience. Sales people that try to use old school tactics to force a sale as opposed to working with a customer. A sales manager that will talk down to you after explaining his own inflated, egotistical story of how he got to where he is in the business. It's amazing that these types of tactics still exist in today's modern age of the car shopping experience. Instead of being considerate to a customer during the negotiation process, it seems that the belittle and disgrace technique suits this dealerships staff just fine. Nevermind the lack of knowledge displayed by the sales person in an effort to secure a deal. This lack of knowledge is something one can accept providing you don't lie to a customer in the process.
BAD OIL CHANGES - guitar
Two oil changes in a row, they not only shorted me a quart of oil (which will wreck the engine in the long run) but put in the wrong oil. They put in WD30 instead of WD20 and didn't tell me.
When I had them change out the oil the second time, I had to sit there almost two hours and they refused to admit their fault saying "Sorry for the misunderstanding."
Do not go there unless you know cars and plan on checking up on their work.
Lemon.... - Cari
I bought a pre-owned vehicle at Boucher Cadillac in Waukesha. First, I did not appreciate the very salesman pressures. I also felt the manager was on performance with fake customer service skills. After a few months of driving my new-to-me preowned vehicle, the engine started knocking, in the dead of winter. I checked the oil and it was all gone. I quick dumped in 3 liters and contacted Boucher. It took awhile, but they finally agreed to do consumption testing. The service rep I worked with was very nice, but he admitted that he was having a hard time getting answers from the manager regarding my complaint. The consumption testing took about a year because sometimes they would forget to record results. I kept running out of oil every 1,000 miles and the blame was put on me as the owner who is responsible for checking oil regularly (who really does that right after buying a car from a dealer?!). The nice service rep who tried very diligently to help me and get answers ended up leaving Boucher so then I was starting over with someone else. They kept promising that they would consult with this car manufacturer's dealer for answers. They finally came up with a dumb broad response that this particular car just naturally runs out of oil every thousand miles and I have to keep filling it up. I'm a single woman, and I feel had. I'm not dumb. I'm tired of always checking oil and dumping more in all the time. I would expect that with a car purchased from a shady person off the street, not a dealer; and certainly not when I paid good money for that car and have a bank note on it.
Service dept is poor - Blaine
Took vehicle in for rear end sway. They Replaced front struts. They don't seem to care they are losing customers for their sales team.
If you look for a dealer based on their service, this is not the place.
Take money no help with warranty - Dajablu
Got a rebuilt "GM" transmission,$4100.00 cost R& R. I have all service done at GM dealers above and beyond warranty requirements. After 11 mo. 27 days and 103000 miles transmission is shot, never towed and all highway miles. GM says tough luck buddy.wants me to do it again.I said no.I went to people that rebuild for everyone, cost me $2750.00 installed with 3 yr/ unlimited mileage warranty.
To xxxx with GM service. I will never step foot in a GM service dept again, I own a Cadillac DeVille a Trail blazer and a Chevy express van, they will never see a GM garage again, piss on them. I also will purchase my vehicles from auctions from here on no more BS GM warranties for me.F Palmquist
Highly Unprofessional Sales Staff - Rich
I agreed to a down payment so that they would transport a truck up from another dealership for me to look at. The email from the sales person explicitly stated that my down payment would be refunded if i decided that I didn't want the truck. I decided I didn't want the truck and they refused to refund me. I never signed anything or ever met them face to face. All communications was through email so i have documentation showing they have no grounds to keep my money. I tried calling the sales manager and he claimed I committed to buying a vehicle from them and would not read through the email conversation i had with the sales person. I would never do business with them in any capacity again!
They didn't price match. - ihaveacrv
I made an appointment to get an oil change. Then I found a coupon for a cheaper oil change at Wilde East Towne Honda, so I asked if Zimbrick would match the price. They said they would not price match, so I got in sooner at Wilde East Towne Honda and got a cheaper oil change. Now I don't bother with Zimbrick.
horrible - amiee0809
I have a 2010 traverse and when I got it from the lot I herd a noise the sales lady said it was normal,I said okay. Got it home found out in the long run I need a whole new front in, also I haven't even had it a year and my timing chain is going out, theirs a lot of recalls on my my suv. My power steering is gonna need done soon, when you go to buy something you want it to be save on the road not have to worry about breaking down right away. After paying that kind of money. I have to get front tire care of the front end being bad. Car dealers need to watch what they sell before it goes out on the line. I have kids to think about. I got your car from 199ride.com and took out extra coverage on it but some stuff isn't covered and I'm not happy when I thought I had a safe ride. My mechanic said that's why the other people traded it in, but the car dealer never fixed any of it before reselling it.
