I recently bought a vehicle from Covert Ford, and I was very satisfied with the sales process, everything was thorough, and I got in and out pretty quickly. This review is more about the dealership itself more than the sales process, like most people will usually write about. Only one word describes this dealership: Old. This dealership is in need of a renovation BADLY. Their smaller dealership, Covert Ford of Hutto, looks WAY more modern and inviting than their main Covert location in Austin. The sales floor looks like it’s stuck in the 80’s, the service advisors are working out of CLOSETS, and the parts “department”, if you can call it that, it’s literally a small room with a mini office. The formal “delivery” area is three small parking stalls at the front of the dealership. I don’t get it, their Bee Cave GMC dealer is BRAND NEW and looks AMAZING, but their main Ford dealership, looks so incredibly run down and old! Because of the old layout of the dealer, and how run down it looks, it doesn’t seem like a very inviting place for me to bring my vehicle for service. I’d rather go to Mac Haik in Georgetown where the dealership looks very inviting, modern, and in a nice area. Sales process and deals are great at this dealer, the dealership itself, is in DIRE need of a makeover.

Bought 3 new cars from this dealership in Victoria Texas. This is one of 2 we purchased brand new in 2022. A month or so ago the cruise control went out. Made an appointment to get it repaired, because it was still under warranty. They had trouble taking the steering column apart, saying the air bag might not work. They claimed someone took the steering column apart and tampered with it. Now they are telling us they repaired the cruise control switch, but they found other issues (metal filings in the steering column? Paint marks on the steering column?) and that they will not warranty it because of suspected tampering. When we asked multiple times if it was safe to drive, they would not say it was. Now they are telling us we have to come and pick up the unsafe car and sign a paper stating they are not responsible for anything that happens going forward. When we asked if they were accusing us of tampering with it, the manager said no. We are the only owners. Welcome to Mac Haik customer service. (reviews are abysmal and they tend to not honor warranties regularly) They still have our car.

We have been blessed to have contacts at various dealerships over the years where we were treated well, but this experience was the best of all. They met us with the sales manager when we walked in the door, had an offer on our trade before we could sit down, and helped us locate an additional vehicle for a family member (did I mention multiple follow ups for us on the vehicle for our family member). We closed the purchase and will close the other purchase when the located vehicle arrives! Can't say enough about these wonderful ladies!!! Very dishonest Finance Manager, and the General Manager - I was told that I could cancel the Extended Warranty at any time and get a refund...after purchasing the EW and paying for it with my credit card because I didn't want it to be part of my loan payment, even though he convince me to added to loan contract but said it not part of the loan - that should have been a red flag for me then - after a week without ever using it I decided I was going to cancel it. I talk with the finance manager about cancel it, and, he told me I had two options to cancel it...one option was to get a refund, but, it will go toward my loan balance, which will reduce the amount I owe...and my other option was to refinance, and, I will get the refund back after refinancing. I told him he never discussed that with me, so I requested to speak with the general manager, and, after explaining everything to him, I told him in good faith that I should receive my refund back to my credit card, but, he agreed with the finance manager said there's nothing he could do. I asked for a copy of the terms and conditions, it says, “You may cancel this Agreement at any time and for any reason, and you will be entitled to a refund from Us, as described below. (1) If We or the Selling Dealer receive a written cancellation request, on or before the 30th day from the Signature Date and no claim has been filed under this Agreement, this Agreement will be void, and You will be entitled to a refund equal to the full Purchase Price You paid for this Agreement.” Because I don't trust them anymore, I refinanced my loan, but I haven't gotten a refund for my credit card.

They put a new battery in before I headed out. Nobody would would admit they messed up. They saw that the battery was at 46 % life and let me drive out with it. Glad my phone app caught it.

We are from south Texas and we were in Mount Pleasant visiting my son . As we were getting ready to head south our air conditioning on our 2023 expedition started to act up and only blow hot air . 3:00 pm on a Friday and 500 miles from home and heater on full blast would have been an unbearable drive. We rolled in to dealership and I must say I have never been treated better. They took it in and worked their magic and an hour later we had cold ac and vehicle was fixed . I know its under warranty and however we bought our vehicle in south texas . They could of easily said we are busy come back Monday however they went above and beyond. We blew out two tires and damaged a rim on Hwy20 on our way to Florida. We had to find a Ford dealer and a tow truck close by. Bianca in the service department was able to find tires and a new rim. They dropped us off at our hotel nearby. Also, they picked us up the next day. We feel that Bianca went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, reducing our stress. Bianca kept in contact with us throughout the ordeal, even when we were waiting for the tow truck on the side of the road.Bianca was very knowledgeable about what was needed. She knows her stuff. She topped it off with a car wash! Very refreshing to see someone with great work ethic! Thank you!!!
