Service department is a scam. I took my car in for a free oil change and they claimed I needed to replace my brand new battery as it was about to fail. I declined, and the next ti I took my car in for a free oil change and they claimed I needed to replace my brand new battery as it was about to fail. I declined, and the next time I took my car in for a free oil change the battery they said was failing previously was magically testing fine now. If you get oil changes here ALWAYS decline the maintenance they try and upsell you. My wife was duped when they said her rear brake pads were low and needed to be replaced. She agreed to have the brake pads replaced. When she picked up her car they billed her $700 for flushing the brake lines, and new pads and rotors More

First, I want to say that I have been a customer of Apple Ford for many years, decades even. My sons were little when they had the popcorn machine in the lobby. They always wanted to go to Apple Ford with Ford for many years, decades even. My sons were little when they had the popcorn machine in the lobby. They always wanted to go to Apple Ford with me whenever I planned to go. Over the years, my sons had grown up. They needed vehicles, too. So, again we have been Apple Ford customers for generations… well, mine and my sons’ generations. One of my sons recently had issues with his Ford Taurus SHO. He diligently researched YouTube videos, ran a FixD diagnostic, and even hired a professional mechanic to run a thorough diagnostic with advanced tools. He tried everything to get the vehicle working, but nothing resolved the issue. He bought a new batter, changed the spark plugs, and replaced the air filter. He bought a couple parts (Fuel Pump Relay Module, Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump) from Apple Ford that cost him about $1,000. My son doesn’t make much money, but he was determined to fix his vehicle. He finally gave up and had it towed to Apple Ford. It took them a couple days, but they told him that 2 cylinders had low compression, and it would cost $10,000 to replace the engine block. Okay, so what are the options? Well, it cannot stay on the lot or Apple Ford would start charging storage fees. Okay, no biggie. He asked about trading it in on a used car off their lot. Afterall, the vehicle Blue Books around $16,000. Surely, subtracting the cost of a new engine ($10,000) would net approximately $6,000 for the good parts of the vehicle. Remember the parts he purchased from Apple Ford remain on the vehicle, and the original parts (which are likely still good) are also in the vehicle somewhere. The very best Apple Ford could do was give him $500 (Yes, five hundred) credit toward an overpriced user vehicle on the lot. Apple Ford mechanics cannot fix cars. They can replace parts. Find yourself a real mechanic elsewhere, and save some money doing it, too. More

My 2013 Licoln MKX was taken to Apple Ford for warranty work to be completed on June 28, 2021...I did not get my vehicle back until January 28, 2022. My car was not diagnosed until July 3, 2021 AFTER I rea work to be completed on June 28, 2021...I did not get my vehicle back until January 28, 2022. My car was not diagnosed until July 3, 2021 AFTER I reached out to Dontrez Demby, Service Agent. I finally received an outline of the items needing repair...the invoice was over TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. I requested ONLY WARRANTY REPAIRS be completed...THIS IS WHEN THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN. Mr. Demby made it quite clear that Apple Ford had not worked with my WARRANTY Company before and was not at all interested in working with them now since their were discrepancies on the labor time cost. I then had to start advocating between the two entities...and it was an major ordeal. The warranty company was gracious in approving repairs; however, Apple Ford was not meeting us at any point. The major ordeal came when the warranty company was ordering a part, and Apple insisted they order the part...once the warranty company cancelled the part order, Apple tried to now order that part that was now on BACK ORDER. Mr. Demby indicated to my husband and I that the part would be in late July to early August 2021. Once that time came and went, Mr. Demby now wanted to say it was the Warranty Company that was ordering the part. I had to continually be the middleman between the two entities...after MONTHS of getting NOWHERE, I sent an email on Oct 4, 2021 to ALL involved to include Apple Ford's head people: M. Sheckwlls, L.Lower, C. Doetch, G. Doetch, C. Ford and service agent, Dontrez Demby; along with the heads at the Warranty Company. I outlined the entire unresolved warranty repair issues, and that I would be contacting an attorney. NO ONE FROM APPLE RESPONDED...I did get the VP of Service with the Warranty Company to contact me immediately. I retained legal representation, and a letter went out to Apple Ford...that is when they started up communications with me again. Needless to say, Apple Ford service agent Dontrez Demby was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL in the manner in which this matter was initially handled and throughout the entire ordeal...he was VERY DISRESPECTFUL when he spoke with me on the phone with his supervisor, Curtis Ford on the line...to the point Mr. Ford had to intervene. The ONLY redeeming quality of Apple Ford is Curtis Ford, Service Manager who was professional and respectful in all of my encounters with him. Apple Ford NEEDS TO IMPROVE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON SO MANY LEVELS...a customer should not have to retain legal representation to get warranty work completed on their vehicle in a timely manner. THIS NIGHTMARE COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED...THEY NEED TO HIRE TRUE AUTO PROFESSIONALS THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Lincoln Service Dept: steering seized on our 2014 Lincoln MKT. Apple was the closest Lincoln dealership. Told me it was my problem, not his. Accused me of screaming at him, & told me to have the car towed out of his service area. Adversarial attitude… not a good representative of Ford Lincoln. I have one star because they let us bring the car in after the steering seized & we had 150 more miles to drive to get home. Other than that, he never returned my calls during the last week. He also hung up on me when I asked to whom I was speaking to let him know my car was going to be towed to a closer dealership that would be looking at it within 2 days. More

Terrible liars . I brought my Lincoln MKC in for routine service and tire rotation . They claim to change the oil but failed to rotate the tires . Mistakes happen so no biggie . The service manager Donnie arranged for my vehicle to be picked up at my residence and have the tires rotated . I’m thinking this is great . They picked my vehicle up on a Monday my day off . Dropped the vehicle off with paperwork that stated the tires where rotated . Sounds great right ? Only propose is unmarked the tires to ensure the work was done and the markings were in the same place as before . I called and spoke to another manager who advised that he was sure they were rotated what he didn’t realize was the service department was closed on Monday and there was no way the tires could’ve been rotated !!!!! They gave me fraudulent paperwork which makes me question if they didn’t anything at all . To top it off I sent the vehicle to another mechanic to double check their work and he discovered that the dealership left every major bolt loose including the master cylinder for the brakes . I wouldn’t trust anything these liars say . Any work they claim to do is subject to fail because they lie . I would reinspect anything they pass off as complete or just not use this dealership . They are setting people up for major work by sabotaging your vehicle and lying about completed work . Do not use them at all !!!!! More
