They took the time to figure out what was going on with my car. I had my tires rotated and balanced and some wasn't right. Turns out I have bad tires so they marked them for me so I could let the place I b my car. I had my tires rotated and balanced and some wasn't right. Update 3/26/2024: After having my new (used) car for less than a day, it started to make a terrible sound. After multiple attempts to show the technicians at Coastal Kia with no avail, I was finally able to than a day, it started to make a terrible sound. After multiple attempts to show the technicians at Coastal Kia with no avail, I was finally able to get the sound on video. Gary Nelson, Tony Kerschner, and Chris (mechanic) got my car in right away to diagnose and fix the problem.. a worn strut that needed replacing. There was no rushing to get it half fixed and shove me back out the door. Myself and the issue were given the time and attention needed to correctly fix it. Everyone stayed in touch with me for a resolve and kept me up to date with the service departments next steps. I picked up my car today, with a detailed description and conversation of exactly what happened, what was replaced, and what happens if I run into anymore issues with my car. While Gary was off today, my dad and I spoke to Samuel Weismann and John Wigger to make sure everything was done right.. not just “patched” until something else broke. I am beyond impressed with all departments involved during this entire transaction and truthfully cannot say enough good things about this group of people.. including the concierge shuttle driver (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name). I’m a 40 year old born & raised local who has never had an experience like this with ANY Wilmington dealership, ever. This team doesn’t push you into a sale, push you to sign, push you out the door when there’s a problem.. none of that. Nothing but polite, patient professionals the entire time, even when it took a few tries and visits for my car to make the noise in front of them (finally). I highly recommend you stop by Coastal Kia before you make your next purchase with any other dealership! ———— 3/21/2024: These people at Coastal Kia are amazing! I found a car they had just received, and it wasn’t even on the lot yet. I contacted the dealership and planned to meet with Ever straight from my work. He had it cleaned, ready and waiting for me to inspect and test drive. Ever Quezada and Isiah Torres did everything possible to help me get into the new car. He didn’t try to scam me, or push me for a sale. He remained straight, honest and to the point. I appreciate that so much! They are genuinely human and actually humble about each person and their buying situation. Never have I had a car dealership take the time to listen, and honestly care about helping as much as possible.. especially when I came in an hour before their closing. Looking for a new used car? Go speak to Ever Quezada! I can’t say enough good things about this whole transaction, Ever and how much they helped me save! More
