8-9-25 While Mateen Sen was helpful, he made a sales offer without authority to do so, and unfortunately, it was to my detriment. I turned down other excellent offers for a new BMW I4 because Mateen and offer without authority to do so, and unfortunately, it was to my detriment. I turned down other excellent offers for a new BMW I4 because Mateen and I had settled on a certain down payment and price. I have it in writing and on my phone. He texted me that his "general manager" had approved of our "deal" and paperwork would be finalized today. Mateen followed up by saying that the vehicle had a "sold tag in it with your name rest assured." He even sent me a link to apply for BMW financing, which I completed and my credit took a hit. Lo and behold, after waiting all day for the paperwork, I was informed that the "general manager" did not approve the deal. He declined to honor his previous representations or even acknowledge our "deal." Either Mateen willfully misrepresented the "deal" to me or he is incredibly inept. I recommend that anyone interested in buying a BMW from Ziegler work directly with the "general manager." This dealership screams of bait and switch and this review will forever confirm it. My report to the BBB will do the same. You've been warned folks. More
