While everyone was “nice”, there were a lot of hidden fees that were not discussed. Additionally, they upsold me on service packages and promised me a certain price only to find out after the contracts w fees that were not discussed. I purchased a 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid from Toyota of Tampa Bay on March 28, 2026. While I love the car itself, my experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing. HIDDEN ADD-ONS: When I was given my "out the door" price, no one explained that it included a $1,299 "DG Windshield Treatment" add-on. This was never disclosed to me as a separate, optional product — it was simply buried in the paperwork. The contract itself states this product is "OPTIONAL and NOT REQUIRED to purchase the vehicle," yet it was never presented to me as optional. To make matters worse, this windshield treatment was NEVER APPLIED to my vehicle. It's been days and no one has contacted me to schedule this service. So I'm being charged $1,299 for something that was never done. NO RESPONSE FROM FINANCE: I've reached out to the Finance Manager multiple times to resolve this issue, but my requests are being ignored. I contacted Dealer General Warranty (DGW), who administers this product, and they confirmed cancellation is possible if the dealership verifies the product was not applied. However, the dealership is not cooperating. MISSING STANDARD EQUIPMENT: I also discovered that my car was missing the cargo floor mat — items that should come standard with every new Camry. BOTTOM LINE: Be very careful when reviewing your paperwork at this dealership. Ask about EVERY line item and don't just accept an "out the door" price without understanding what's included. I am now dealing with Toyota Corporate and may file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. Very disappointed with this experience. More

Sold a demo car at a new car price. They added a “market adjustment” to the price and acted like we were getting a deal by giving us $1,000 off (which still meant it was above market). We really wanted it and accepted the price even though the demo had 6k+ miles on it. While we were signing paperwork, they took the vehicle to be detailed. Once all was finished we inspected the vehicle and asked for it to be detailed again. Second time around (and after sitting at the dealership for 6 hours) it was still not in “like new” condition but I took it home. Once arriving home I inspected the backseat noting a piece of fried chicken and black marks on the back of the driver side seat. I called and asked for it to be cleaned, and they advised that they would call me to schedule another detailing. They never called to schedule and I realized that I was not able to use the features that were part of the subscription included in the price of the car for the first year. I again called several times to coordinate getting my vehicle cleaned and getting copies of the warranty information and paperwork that we should’ve been given at signing. After several attempts, I did not receive a phone call and called corporate corporate logged a case, and the dealer finally called me back. The general manager was extremely hostile and rude regarding questioning about the warranty on the vehicle. My overall experience with this dealer is absolutely terrible customer service, poor follow through, and shady pricing. I would never do business with them again in the future. More
