DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. At the literal last moment of me trying to purchase a Nissan Leaf, they tried to charge me a NINE THOUSAND DOLLAR ($9,000) "adjustment" (basically an At the literal last moment of me trying to purchase a Nissan Leaf, they tried to charge me a NINE THOUSAND DOLLAR ($9,000) "adjustment" (basically an upcharge just because vehicles are scarce and dealers can get away with it). I've spoken to at least 20 dealerships across the east coast, and while some are charging slight "adjustments" (I've seen as low as a $595 base rate, and even on the higher end around 10% of the car value) McDonough Nissan tried to charge me almost a 25% upcharge on a whim. EVs are obviously in high demand and very scarce, but I've found the same exact vehicle they were selling here at a dealership out of state and they are charging NO adjustments. The sales manager I spoke to literally told me "well someone will pay it". Do not be that someone. Do not let this dealership rip you off. If you're looking for a positive spin on this, at least they are keeping the "slimy car salesman" stereotype alive XD More

Pete was our salesman and he was very helpful and nice. Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. Actually surprised that I have to sign cancellation forms and continue to hound them to get them to remove a charge they added to financials without buyer consent. Shady. Look for another dealer or bring your own financing to the table. Even though we didn’t work with the finance manager Alex, I have repeatedly contacted him and the finance group to resolve the issue without success. More
