"Just bought a 2007 4Runner from Acton, and I coud not be..."

- pturpin1

Just bought a 2007 4Runner from Acton, and I coud not be happier. Fozi (my sales rep) worked to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Their price on my trade was higher than Edmunds and Kelly, and Fozi actually built the car with me on Edmunds to ensure I was getting the real invoice price. Other dealers may look bigger, but this is the only place to stop.

"We have dealt with Acton Toyota exclusively for the last..."

- Ellen Ryan

We have dealt with Acton Toyota exclusively for the last 24 years. Our experience with .com has been extraordinary - professional, timely, helpful and attentive to our needs. Carl McPhee was terrific with all services as was Ben Koller. I couldn't be happier with my new Matrix.

This was my first purchase (2007 Rav4) from Acton Toyota. My sales person, Carl McPhee, was very professional and friendly. All questions and concerns were answered very quickly either by phone or email. I recommend Acton Toyota and Carl.

"Bought the car here, will NEVER go back for anything else..."

- dpdonova

Bought the car here, will NEVER go back for anything else again! Read on: The problem is that the navigation system in my 07 Camry XLE died. Less than 6 months of ownership and 7200 miles. I scheduled time to come in after having Acton Toyota diagnose that I needed my Navigation system replaced. I receive an email that the part is in on Friday 6/29. The email said that service would call. I had heard nothing by Monday so I called. (My service advisor also told me they would call me asap). I was on vacation the 1st week of July and was able to come in and wait the hour it would take to replace. I was told that I could not be accommodated for that week. (previously I was told It would not be a problem. The service advisor was fairly rude when I asked "Since this was a warranty repair and If I had to come back next week or later would a service loaner be provided. I got an immediate and rude NO!. After pressing on, I secured an appt for that Friday. During the next day or two I got several calls from different "service advisors" at Acton Toyota all trying to schedule the appt for the replacement? (does anyone talk to each other there I wonder?) I then told them that I have an appt then they just hang up. Then on Wednesday of this week a person named Liz calls and asks about scheduling an appt. I go through it again. She tells me they are not busy to come in before noon. I drop what I am doing and drive the hour plus to get there. I arrive, am taken in and wait in waiting room. They mark the slip waiting. Then about an hour later I see my car outside. I see my cell phone is ringing with a "service advisor" - calling me in the waiting room that my car is ready. The same guy that knew I was in there????? I get the paperwork and go out to my car. I drive off the lot. While driving home, I notice that my leather interior is filthy! Grease marks on the seats and interior molding. My mp3 jack cord is lodged in the molding stuck under the dash? I pull that out and try to wipe the seat. I also notice that my music CD's are gone, that had been in the old unit. I drive a half hour back to service bay. I advise of the issues to the "service advisors", they say, "they are in the other unit" Like I should know this????? I ask why I was not informed they were not ejected? I get blank stares. I leave and go see my sales rep. At this point pursuing a conversation with "Service" advisors is pointless. Peter R and Matt L come out and try to clean car and go over to service and find out what happened. I am told my Matt L that I can have the old unit re-installed and they can eject the cd's or I can have them sent to me from Toyota. I choose to have them sent to me. I drive away, disgusted. And to this day have yet to have someone from service call or even advise of the arrival time of my cd's. As a new customer to service after purchasing a vehicle I would expect more. Update today. I get a call from Chuck he leaves a message for me to call him and also a note that the CD's will now take 6-8 weeks to be returned to me. So if you want the run around go to this "Service" dept. They just care about selling cars not servicing them. I thought I would have a better relationship from this dealer. I was wrong, and sorry I did not wait for the 2008 Accord. Honda Service has been phenonmenal for over 10 years at Lungren Honda. (and to think I never bought a car from them!) BEWARE and ride these people if you want results.

"Late one evening I submitted internet quote requests to..."

- jgrad

Late one evening I submitted internet quote requests to three dealers for a 2007 Toyota Prius. Early the next morning I had an automated e-mail acknowlegement from Acton Toyota saying that one of their internet sales team would contact me. Later that morning I received a phone call from Juliana Chaves asking what options I wanted on the car and then immediately gave me a firm quote. One of the other dealers sent a quote the following day, and the third dealer called the day after I had signed the purchase contract with Acton. Juliana's quote was the lowest of the three. I called her and made an appointment to bring my trade-in for an appraisal, and again I was given a prompt firm quote, just slightly higher than what I had expected to get for my car. I accepted the quote, and Juliana wrote up the purchase contract. Nothing could have been easier - no negotiating, no arguing, just a very friendly business transaction. I had to wait a few days for the car because the Prius I wanted was not in stock, but during that time Juliana kept in touch by phone. When my car came in, I met again with Juliana and Peter Rakauskas, one of the business managers, to go through the necessary paper work. Finally Juliana went over the details of the car with me and helped me set up some of the many functions on the Prius. From beginning to end, she was knowledgeable, friendly, reliable, and always eager to help, making the car buying process a pleasure. I have never had such a positive experience in my many years of car buying. Go to Acton Toyota and ask for Juliana Chaves!

"I have two vehicles and trade each every two or three..."

- lszetelacpa

I have two vehicles and trade each every two or three years, and one of my best friends is a car dealer, so I consider myself an educated car buyer, and am well known in my town for that. I am a CPA and when clients want to buy a vehicle, they call me for advice. This was the easiest buying experience I have had(as good as buying from my friend who is a dealer)--no haggling, just a good up front price. I have another friend who works for a big group of dealerships, and he set me up with a test drive on a new Tacoma. Then I talked to a manager and he said he would work from invoice. When he got back to me, he was way over invoice. Other dealers had vehicles on their website, but not in stock. Acton Toyota had the one I wanted.I have dealt with so many dealerships over the past 35 years, and Acton Toyota is a class operation and I should know that, because my friend's family has run a small town used car dealership for over 50 years and they are first class. Acton Toyota is in their class, friendly, no pressure, professional and they know how to treat a customer. When I share this with my friends, I am finding out that many of them have bought there and love the place. My last comment to this rating is that If a client calls me and is buying a Toyota, all I'll say is "Call Acton Toyota." Thank you.

- gardnersteak

I too looked at dealerrater.com for history, and found Acton to be in the upper ratings. They were quick to find the color I wanted from elsewhere. Juliana did a great job explaining the "Science" part of the 2007 Camry. They were pleasant to deal with, while being extrememly busy. This is my first Toyota, and hoping it's a long love affair with the car & the dealer.

- lszetelacpa

I am a CPA and a client and one of my best friends is a car dealer, so I know quite a bit about the automobile business. I am also a car nut and have two cars, which I trade every two or three years. I am the first person many of my clients call when they want to purchase a vehicle. In the future if a client calls me about a Toyota, all I will do is say-"Call Acton Toyota." I have dealt with many dealers over the past 35 years, and this was one of my best experiences buying a vehicle. Fozi was very upfront in the pricing, and they had the Tacoma I wanted in stock. Great dealer and great sales professional.

- mishaba

Purchased 2007 Camry Hybrid in June, 2007. I got several online quotes from various dealers in the Boston area (I was moving from Seattle and needed a car within a couple of days of langing here). Eric's quote was over a thousand dollars lower than the initial quotes from the others. Eric was very responsive in email and in voice calls, and arranged for other staff to handle my purchase when he was not available. In all, a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend the dealership.

"First let me say that I value good customer service over..."

- JOHNKEVIN

First let me say that I value good customer service over just about anything else and Acton Toyota far exceeded my expectations. I just purchased a 2007 Toyota Rav4 from the internet sales dept and was pleasantly surprised on the service I received and the hassle free experience. I did a lot of shopping around via internet sales and no other dealer can be compared! They were friendly, knowledgeable and just great to work with. The entire process, visit to test drive and pick up, took only 3 days (1 of which was a holiday). I highly recommend this dealer, you will not be disappointed.
