When one typically goes car shopping, it's like preparing for battle, but not at Acton Toyota of Littleton -- I'm still amazed at how easy, straightforward, and pleasant our experience was. We came to Acton Toyota looking for a lightly used Sienna minivan. Travis McCarthy was very patient and friendly while we looked at several pre-owned vehicles. When we couldn't find just the right one (and I'll admit to being picky past the point of reason), Travis said he could get us a REALLY good price on a new Sienna. Figuring it would be way beyond our budget, we hesitated but then said sure, give us a price. The number was REALLY good, and he had a good selection of vehicles at the same price, not just one "special" deal. We went through the inventory, picked the new Sienna we liked, and took it for a spin while they appraised our trade. When we got back, we were given a fair price on our old car, so with no fuss, we signed the deal. It was very simple and straightforward. The finance office personnel got us a good deal on financing and were excellent to deal with. Even the man who delivered our new Sienna to us in New Hampshire was very friendly and helpful, and dealership personnel have followed up to make sure we are satisfied with our purchase. It couldn't have been much easier. Thank you! More
I was very pleased to be able to lease my 2010 Corolla from Acton Toyota. Since I live in CT and work at varying hours, I was so happy to be able to do everything via internet and phone. We bought our Toyota Sienna in Vermont where we live, but always have our car serviced at Acton Toyota in Mass. just because their service is so much better than our local dealer in VT. I have purchased two Toyotas here and the sales experience was delightfully non-pressured. The salespeople were smart, matter-of-fact, and very oriented to meeting our needs. But where this dealerships stands out even more is in the Service Department. I have owned cars for 45 years and have visited a lot of service departments - nothing compares to the efficiency, effectiveness, and competence of this shop. There is a large staff and so check-in takes just a few minutes. They provide a free breakfast or lunch, if I want to stick around, or they have a driver to take me to the train if that's what I need. The repairs and preventative maintenance have always been done on time and at a reasonable (albeit not rock bottom) price. I am willing to pay a little extra when I get high quality, dependable service. These folks know Toyotas inside and out. They must treat their staff well because they seem to have a very low turn-over rate, and this leads to even greater competence and efficiency. I feel lucky to have this shop as a neighbor. They're the best!! More
I started going to Acton Toyota when I heard that they had free breakfast/lunch when you wait for your car. I know it is a silly reason to start going somewhere, but a reason is a reason. Scheduling service is really easy online, the rewards points that they use is a fairly worth-while system and their employees are all very friendly. I typically never have to wait more than an hour for an oil change (plenty of time to eat my breakfast) and check my emails for work (via the free WiFi). I just got my 60,000 mile maintenance done, and the wait was only 2.5 hours, which is nothing for the amount of work that was done! The prices are a little expensive compared to other places, but you do get what you pay for I believe. The fast service and the great employees make the whole experience great. Next time I buy a Toyota, I will probably be purchasing from Acton Toyota. If their sales department is half as nice as their service department, I will be extremely pleased. More
No hassle, no pressure. Just as relaxing as possible, for a new car purchase. John Bernard took lots of time to show me the vehicles and was quite knowledgeable. i had scheduled routine maintenance, oil change, tire rotation. while truuck was in the shop for this work, they discovered my truck had an open recall for gas pedal modification. they performed that w rotation. while truuck was in the shop for this work, they discovered my truck had an open recall for gas pedal modification. they performed that work as well. i was very impressed that they took the time to check for recall and performed the work promptly that same day; especially since it was only scheduled routine maintenance. thank you acton toyota..yet another great experience. Acton Toyota (John Bernard and several management folks) handled a difficult situation with speed and professionalism. My car had been rear-ended and totaled just days earlier. As a resident of South Carolina, it became clear that final registration of a new car could only be accomplished in person, so it became necessary to get the proper documentation needed to drive it down there from Massachusetts.
