Recent service As far as I can tell, the warranty parts installed are doing what they should be doing. This was only my second service, but a few disappointments: After dropping the car off at the 9:15 appt time, I was told I'd be called around noon with an update- that didn't happen and I called at 1:00 to check on the status. When I picked up the car, I found a mechanic's tool in my driver's door pocket, messing up the items I had in there. The paper mat put down to protect my floor mat was crumpled up in the passenger seat. There were black boot marks on the exterior and interior kick plates on the driver's side. While wiping down the car after the wash, someone forgot to finish the job and the exterior passenger's side of the front window was such a mess I had to clean it myself to see out clearly. Pretty minor stuff in the scheme of the repairs done, but still not what I expected after spending the kind of money I did on the RDX. All the folks I interacted with were polite and professional, and I was given a free oil change coupon when I voiced my concerns to the lady who called the next day to check on my service experience. More

Help for a desperate traveler I pulled into the dealership with no appointment on Saturday of July 4th weekend, with a tire pressure sensor indicating a flat was coming. They squeezed me in, diagnosed the problem as a nail hole, plugged the hole, all within an hour (without an appointment). Then they did not charge me since "you've already had your trip )Washington to Chicago) interrupted. We can't charge you anything." These are fine people, who make Acura a class brand. More
