I dropped off my car 6/3 when unexpectedly it bagan to uncontrollably shake and no longer accelerated. Coincidentally, I was in the broward area where and Acura dealership was 1.3 miles from I75. I drove uncontrollably shake and no longer accelerated. Coincidentally, I was in the broward area where and Acura dealership was 1.3 miles from I75. I drove the car into the service area and was told there were no loaners available, in a matter of fact kinda way. Keep in mind I live 35 miles away. Because my family works in another Acura dealer, I’m familiar with the process and know Acura can’t leave me out in the streets with no transportation alternative specially due to a warranty issue. Once I shared this information with the service writer, a loaner miraculously appeared. I drove into the dealer with an RDX and was provided an ILX, not comfortable or the equivalent of what I have but it was a means of transportation. With that said, I did not receive a call at all to know the status of my vehicle. I made two separate unsuccessful calls inquiring the status on 6/6 and 6/9. There were no updates. Once I got a call I was provided an update on a different vehicle. On 6/13 I received a call stating my car was ready. I immediately drove the 35 miles to Pembroke Pines to pick up my car. Once I arrived no one knew the status of my car and I was asked if I was in fact sure my car was ready and what was done to the vehicle. It seems Kevin Gomez, the service writer wasn’t available. Someone came and handed me the keys and I had to ask where my car was parked. I was not asked to sign any paperwork as I returned the loaner or for the pick up of my car. I wonder if my signature was forged as I should’ve signed paperwork on the work that was done. In addition, my car was not washed although I had signed a consent for a car wash when I dropped off the car. All in all, not a good experience. More
