My negative review concerns the service department. The repair they performed on my vehicle appears to have been a temporary fix rather than a proper diagnosis of the underlying problem. Before authorizing the repair, I specifically asked them to inspect a known failure point while the transfer case was removed, as this issue is common and is currently being investigated by NHTSA (Case DP26-001). The dealership stated that the inspection was performed but refused to document it in writing. Two months later, I returned with another concern involving the same AWD system. At that point, they wanted to charge me $1,000 to remove the transfer case again—the same transfer case they had installed only two months earlier—to inspect the exact component I had originally asked them to check. During this visit, I was also provided with information about the AWD system that proved to be inaccurate. My suspected root cause has since been confirmed by another Acura dealership and is now being properly addressed. More
