Make sure to check under your hood after you get your vehicle serviced. Sometime after my previous oil change I started smelling oil and checked under the hood and my oil cap was off and the technician h vehicle serviced. Sometime after my previous oil change I started smelling oil and checked under the hood and my oil cap was off and the technician had it lodged by the battery bay. So oil spilled out on to my engine. I rarely drive the truck just for long trips mainly.. I spent 60k on the truck brand new. Came in at 7 am for my next routine maintenance and asked to speak to the manager to to let him know if the situation for future reference and maybe have him speak to the assigned technician to learn from the mistake. The Manager at 7 am was too busy to speak to me.. that pissed me off and the service writer said they would clean the oil residue from THEIR mistake on my engine bay but go figure they didn’t… More
