I don't think there was any miscommunications, it's more like your F&I manager is more into shady profits for the dealership. My mistake was I didn't look up the cost of the mats online but instead I kept asking your guys how much is dealer cost, and nobody seemed to know what the price was until it was already part of the sales document. As far as the additional $167 on top of the out the door price, it's totally xx, out the door price is simply what it states, "OUT THE DOOR PRICE", there's no added tax on top of that. I'll just put this experience as a learning experience on what not fall for the next time around, in fact, this won't happen again because I won't be back for another car from this dealership. As far as the finance package your F&I guy thinks he got me on, I'm refinancing for a 3 year term for almost half with my credit union. I'm sure this dealership has some upfront stand up people, but one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch as far as the public view is concerned.
