John failed to provide me with any updates regarding my vehicle for days after dropping it off. During that time, his peers provided me with false information, telling me that parts had been ordered when, vehicle for days after dropping it off. When a technician was finally assigned, I was told that the technician was off and that they would not be able to provide me with an update until he returned. This was the first update I received after four days of complete silence. I was left without a vehicle during this entire time and had to physically drive to the dealership just to get any type of information. When I arrived, John was dismissive, rude, and resistant to helping me. He repeatedly told me that he could not provide me with a rental vehicle. It was not until I asked him to speak with his manager that he was suddenly able to approve one. The entire process felt unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. John was extremely unprofessional throughout the interaction. He made comments such as, “God forbid I get sick,” when explaining why he could be out of the office and unable to provide updates. He also repeatedly told me, as a consumer, that they had vehicles sitting there for weeks without being inspected because they were too overwhelmed. Hearing this did not provide any reassurance that my vehicle would be handled in a reasonable timeframe.
