Everyone was friendly and helpful. I do wish they had brought my loaner car to the outside curb area so that I could acclimate to its settings. So my battery has failed 4xs this past year on a new Forester I purchased on Feb 2023. Have to have a service tech come out each time to restart it. My wife and I were on a long road trip up the coast. Our check engine light came on. We are from Phoenix, AZ, visiting friends in Richmond, CA. We were able to make an appointment for Friday, July 5th, right after the Independence Day holiday. Albany Subaru accommodated us in so many ways! First, they correctly and efficiently diagnosed our problem (Thermocontrol Bypass)—and found the origin of the problem, (water pump) not just treating the symptom. This was a huge relief because our journey back to Arizona from the Bay Area meant traveling through the desert and constant high road temperatures. Travelers are at the mercy of mechanics. My interactions with Jay Parafina and Christine West were both thorough and very helpful in understanding the service department's processes and communication with us about details! I requested a loner car and they went out of their way to help get a car for us! Great communication! Great Service! I highly recommend Albany Subaru for the experience they gave us. More
