Update1/17: Audi Dallas was very quick to review my feedback. They clearly understood the assignment and I applaud my salesperson as well as the sales lead to reach out. They have changed their tone and worked with me to provide the refund. Action was taken the day they called, and I'm closing the loop on more positive note. I strongly recommend NOT going to Audi of Dallas. I believe ever since the shift to high demand and low supply, this #1 in Texas dealership has lost complete care for customer service or anything that related with working with the customer. I placed an order for an 2022 Audi on 10/4 and was told to put a NONrefundable deposit of $2500. One thing before signing paperwork acknowledging it was nonrefundable, the salesperson said "It's nonrefundable but i know we can work with you if there's anything big that comes up". I obliged and signed. ETA on delivery of the car was set for "Mid-December". Since signing, I have never received any communication from the salesperson nor Audi regarding any updates. NO VIN #, NO PRICING. I reached out on 12/9 for the first time since ordering and asked for an update. STILL NO PRICING NOR VIN at that point but was told my car was at the port of Houston and should arrive beginning of January. On 1/5 I asked for a refund of my $2500. I was moving away from Texas and wanted to drive my new Audi cross country to my new location. And immediately met with pushback. The very next day Salesperson punted the problem to a sales director. The man called and started the conversation "Hi Daniel, You know you signed the agreement that stated the $2500 was nonrefundable. Therefore we will not be refunding you the deposit" He did NOT bother to ask why, what happened, let's discuss options, NONE. The called ended abruptly after that. Do not bother to call Audi for this type of issue. Audi defers these type of issues back to the dealership and like the #1 Audi dealership in Dallas stated from their lack of care for brand management and customer experience, they will NOT be refunding. At the time of this writing, I received a price and VIN right after I asked to cancel my car in Jan with NO ETA of when my car will deliver. lied that it was at the port when it wasn't. I don't even know if my car was on the assembly line or not. More
