The sales team was great but my lone service experience was incredibly frustrating and quite possibly the worst dealership experience I’ve had. I pulled up and the doors to service were locked. I began walking around the dealership checking doors and others were similarly locked. Several employees were outside and observed me checking doors and didn’t approach me. As I begin to call the dealership a person that I recognize as the owner’s son pulls up and advises that the person opening the dealership forgot their keys and it will be another 5-10 minutes. Once open I begin working with the service adviser and was told I would need to speak with the finance manager to determined the insurance provider on my tires. The finance manager was great and questioned why he sent me to do this and speaks to the adviser. The manager leaves and I begin working with the adviser who then tells me he is unable to verify my tire warranty claim since it was a Saturday. I was given the option to pay for the tire and request a refund later, or to return the following week for replacement. This made an already frustrating experience much worse since I had called earlier in the week and was advised that tires aren’t repaired and they ordered me a replacement that would be covered under my warranty and then made my appointment for a Saturday. I requested my keys from the adviser and as I waited for my car I went and spoke with the finance manager who resolved the situation by again interjecting with service and replacing my tire on a Saturday. I was sold on the small dealership experience but the big dealership where I’ve purchased a different German brand doesn’t treat their service customers in this manner. More
