After being very clear with what work I wanted performed, both on the phone and initially in person, I was asked a third time, almost like a high pressure sale. After specifically letting the dealership know that we were driving over 80 miles to look at a car, we were told it was ready. After test driving, we let them know we were interested in purchasing the veh were driving over 80 miles to look at a car, we were told it was ready. After test driving, we let them know we were interested in purchasing the vehicle. It was at this point they determined the car was not ready. The sales person indicated they would reduce the price of the vehicle a bit if we would drive back again later that day. When we came back in the late afternoon, the sales person informed us that they were not able to come down on the vehicle price. If the dealership wanted to have any future dealings with us, they should have knocked a little bit off the sales price to accommodate the inconvenience to us or informed us of them not willing to negotiate on the price before we drove all the way back in. I’m not saying that we wouldn’t have still made the same decision, but we felt backed into a corner after making a second trip. We were mislead, not materially mislead but still mislead. More
