Dropped my car off for normal service, received message that I needed brake pads, rotors and tail light assembly. Just wish I had be forewarned as to how much this was costing. Brought car in for replacement of defective air bag. Also wanted to have trunk lock diagnosed as "trunk open" warning kept coming on when trunk was shut. Vince advised me that the diagnosis would be $ Also wanted to have trunk lock diagnosed as "trunk open" warning kept coming on when trunk was shut. Vince advised me that the diagnosis would be $199, which I accepted. I didn't know that the $199 was for a service estimate for anything else they could find wrong with the car. So I paid for the time for them to come up with a sales list of other items to be attended to. If I were told that I would have refused as I am planning to get a new car before the year end and will not be making any of the suggested repairs. I will say ALL the people I interacted with at the dealership were very professional and efficient, so if it weren't for BMW's practice of charging me to come up with a list of what else they could sell me, I would recommend the dealership.
