Work was done in timely fashion and car was returned in very clean condition. I changed my dealership about 3 years ago and have been pleasantly surprised since then. We've always found the service at BMW of Darien to be excellent and friendly. It wasn't up your usual standards this time. The video from the mechanic cut out before we knew what was wrong. Also, the music in the shop was so loud that we had a hard time hearing what he said. (You need to turn that radio down before you record a video.) When we called back, no one was available to explain what was going on with our car. Turnaround was much slower than expected. We had the loaner for four days and had to call every day to see what the status was. In the past, we would get daily updates -- not this time. No one ever called. The loaner was a nice car but it would have been helpful if the manual was included. Since we intend to keep our aging car for a few more years, with more service likely to be necessary, we hope that this experience was an anomaly. More
