We just took possession of a 2021 BMW X1 that we special ordered in December. This model is made in Germany. We wanted the car with the packages and colors we liked so we were willing to wait. We first visited the dealer just to look around. Made an appointment to come back the following week and test drove an X1 and X3. We ordered the vehicle that day, none with our specs were found. And the sales rep told us we needed to order it, rather than pushing us into something 'close.' So that was highly appreciated. He also kept me informed of the progress as the vehicle left Germany and was headed to the US. On the day we picked it up, everything went smoothly too. We did bring in a trade in, all went well there. About the only thing I can think of that didn't happen well was, we didn't get two of those spiffy looking black jackets with the BMW logo on them. Even our sales rep needs one. So to whomever reviews the reviews, we would like one small and one XL. Get a large for our sales rep too. Overall, a very good experience at this dealership. If all is going well for us 3 years from now, I do have my sights on a 540i, and this is the only BMW dealership I would even consider visiting for that. (Now you gotta send us a couple of jackets.) The dealership service department is much improved. I was planning on selling my car because the service department was so inattentive and the service advisors were so bad.
