However, the blaring TV made the waiting area unpleasant. Although I originally had planned to wait, I found it so annoying I opted not to wait for a diagnosis about my car but instead requested a loaner vehicle immediately. I suggest the compensation by the dealership to Hertz for loaner vehicles is a cost that should be taken into account in how the service department is managed. I doubt I am the only person who would prefer either silence or quiet background music to the inane blather of a TV show in your waiting area. More

Great Service as Always at BMW of Sarasota I had another experience that underscored the value of driving a BMW and working with this dealership in particular. I started my day with a low tire I had another experience that underscored the value of driving a BMW and working with this dealership in particular. I started my day with a low tire warning on my passenger rear, and the tire was indeed low. Concerned, I had it checked out at a tire store near my home, which confirmed a nail hole that couldn't be fixed. I prefer to have Sarasota of BMW do all of my service, and the local tire store did not have the proper tire in stock anyway. With the run-flat tire pumped up, I was able to make it from Venice to Sarasota without incident. Assistant service managers Scott Gould and Tina Griffith had me back on the road with a new tire installed within two hours. I had not met either Scott or Tina previously, but like everyone else I have worked with at this dealership over the past eight years, they were great. Susan Schoengold, the director of customer relations, greeted me from the minute I entered the waiting room to make sure my concerns and needs were being addressed. She always does a super job as well. In addition, during the waiting process, I walked across the street to get a sandwich and during that time received a video from Jason, the BMW certified technician, explaining what they had found during the inspection and confirming the remedy. Very impressive. More

Perhaps check out the Mercedes dealer across the street. They handle it like a luxury car dealer should. Lewis the device advisor was great, the best part of the experience. More
