Leased a Grand Cherokee on Sunday, November 30th. The UConnect wasn’t activating properly so I had to bring it back a few days later for the radio to be reset. Then UConnect activated but the remote star UConnect wasn’t activating properly so I had to bring it back a few days later for the radio to be reset. Then UConnect activated but the remote start on the App and the website wouldn’t work. After numerous phone calls with XM Guardian and UConnect someone finally gave up and said bring it to the dealer. I returned last Friday and Jay took care of me and their technician came out to get further information and ordered a part. Yesterday I received a text the part was in and after leaving a message because of a major snow storm Jay called me this morning and said come on in to get the part swapped out. Only cons are the owners need to work on is the texting system they are using often sends out texts confirming appointments you don’t have and responses to texts sent are not replied to. A work in progress I guess but they are trying to keep the customer informed. Also their service area is small for the amount of cars they process. They need to try to expand or come up with a better process to handle people who have no choice but wait for their cars. This is on ownership. The personnel working their try their hardest. This is my third Jeep with Bayside which should say a lot. I have been to other dealerships in the area but their are reasons people will travel to Bayside over these others. Bayside will always try to make it right. More
