I dropped off my vehicle on the evening prior to an early morning service appointment the next day (installation of a backup camera). They provided me with a loaner/rental vehicle and I was told that I could pick up the vehicle the following evening at 5 when I planned to return. I arrived at 5 and as I walked in to the service department I noticed a voicemail message that had been left 10 minutes earlier. It was “Rick” from the service department telling me that my vehicle would not be ready for pickup that day. I live an hour away from the dealership and asked why it had taken them more than 9 hours to contact me to tell me the vehicle wasn’t ready. “Rick” told me that he called as soon as he found out. I asked why he didn’t know sooner and said again that he had just found out. He added “I’m not going to call a customer at noon and tell them that their vehicle might not be ready”. I guess the alternative of a wasted 2 hour round trip for the customer is their preferred way of doing business. I asked to get my vehicle back because I needed it for business the next day (towing) and he told me that I could not have it back because it was not put back together. So I was stuck with a rental vehicle not equipped for the work that I needed to do, essentially losing money to lost work the next day. “Rick” said “Sometimes things happen”. I asked who his supervisor was and he said that he wasn’t there. I asked for his supervisor’s name again and he rolled his eyes and said again that the supervisor wasn’t there. Finally I asked him for his supervisor’s card and he gave it to me. I asked for my rental vehicle back so that I could get home and he said to go get it again from the rental agent. He only accompanied me to the rental agent to explain how to bill the second day of the rental car when I asked him to. Never once did he apologize for the situation (until I asked him for an apology…which got me another eye roll) and behaved as though I was wasting his time. The sales person that originally sold me the vehicle saw me on the way out and offered me a truck for the day so that I could take care of my scheduled business and he also offered to bring my vehicle to me when it was finished. But because of insurance reasons I could not use a vehicle other than my own and frankly I had such a poor experience I just wanted to get out of there. I’d buy from them again but will never trust them with repairing my vehicle. If they can’t be courteous an honest at the service desk how can I know that my vehicle is being repaired properly and is safe to operate once I get it back. Disappointed doesn’t begin to cover it. I won’t go back. More

Poor Service and lot's of Excuses I have purchased a few cars over the years from this dealership and the sales staff is okay. However, the service department is VERY DISAPPOINTING! On three occasions in the past year I've dropped off a car in the early morning, yet the service department hadn't started work on it until late in the day. On two of these visits, I essentially ordered them to stop any work and return my vehicle. I should also mention that the ONLY reason that I would re-visit them was due to warranty related items. My latest visit was for basic service (i.e. oil change, inspection, minor warranty for noisy brakes); but after having my vehicle for over seven (7) hours I learned that they hadn't started any work on it. Also, a relative dropped off a vehicle for a minor fluid leak and later discovered that the mechanic broke the radiator in error. STAY AWAY from this dealership's service department. Their full of excuses, false starts, and poor management. More

I said if they did that my first stop would be the DMV as this would be a very unsafe thing to do. They gave in and fixed my truck which took 7 hrs. David Fox More

Went to this dealer ship for an oil change and they found a defective water pump. Ihad them change it, they did a great job. when i got home i called around to two other dealers and found that Bonneville was a defective water pump. Went in for simple oil change at46000ml was told needed services that were not recommended until 60000!! Left next day for road trip 2hours in had oil leaking all over engine went to another dealer in are services that were not recommended until 60000!! Bought my first car from this dealership approx 6 yrs ago. Why? Rodney's respectful approach and a "no pressure" consultative sales style. It was distinctly different then the three other dealerships I had approached. Despite my knowing it was Rod's job to sell he seemed to have a sincere interest in meeting my needs. Three years ago I bought a second vehicle from Bonneville for same reasons only this time my decision was enchance by the exceptional level of customer service I had experienced during routine repairs and maintenance visit on that first vehicle. Megan, Chris and Ray's names come to mind but all I have encountered on the service team has been great, friendly, professional and always on the move. More

Rather than trying to gloss over it, I recently bought a 2012 Jeep Wrangler from Bonneville. Unfortunately there was a small scratch on the fender. Rather than trying to gloss over it, my salesman Dan Reitz offered to order a brand new one. There was some mis-communication between the sales and service departments, which did result in some frustration on my part. However, they were very receptive to my concerns and straightened it out as soon as they could. Overall I would say this dealership shows alot of respect and courtesy for their customers, and Dan Reitz in particular was great. The vehicle itself is fantastic and I will most likely own a Jeep until I'm too old to drive. More
