Shawn Weir was very helpful. What ever we felt may be wrong with the car Shawn did not pressure us. He was truthful that they could fix it or if we wanted to look at something else. Carlos Machado made us feel like he was working for us not just selling us a car. Overall at Bourne you do not feel pressured. Even if the sales person spends an hour or two with you the costumer feels comfortable no rushing into anything. This was our second car we bought here and when we need another one we will go back to Bourne. Although because they take such good care of their costumers is may be awhile before we need another car. More
UPDATE: I was contacted and Bourne's made it right. I am very satisfied now and would consider another purchase from them. At first, I didn't expect much from a used dealership but after reading a I am very satisfied now and would consider another purchase from them. At first, I didn't expect much from a used dealership but after reading almost 100% positive reviews, I decided to pursue a 2007 Honda they had for sale. I planned to fly out from DC and drive the car back because the trim level is hard to find. I sent an inquiry through and Shawn Weir replied. I asked for pictures of the tires (as there were no clear pictures of them) to which I received a reply that they were in "excellent condition". I sent another e-mail describing my situation, asking Mr. Weir to give the car a good assessment and to give me a call so that I could leave a deposit. After two days and no response, I decided to give Mr. Weir a call and left a deposit and told him my plans to fly out. We spoke again and I confirmed my travel plans and I was assured the car was ready to go. I arrived that day and asked for Mr. Weir and I introduced myself to him and received a strange look from him. He didn't know who I was and wasn't expecting me. The car was brought to me, fully warmed up, and I test drove it around. The car ran perfectly but still had dog hair from a previous owner and visible dirt on the seats. Every plastic part was lathered in Armor all protectant but I assume this is a standard for them. I had to ask twice for the dirt to be cleaned, there was still dirt but it was much better. I drove 500 miles back to DC without incident. I got it registered and tagged and started the car a few days later and noticed that it would stall almost everytime I would clutch in while driving cold. On one occasion, I started it and went inside my house and came back outside to find the engine off. It also idled rough and ran rich. It ran perfectly fine once warmed up. I contacted Mr. Weir and after not hearing back for three days, I contacted Mr. Saunders, who directed me to the service manager. Mr. Clark told me this wasn't an issue for them and there was nothing he could do about it as they would incur no costs for the repairs needed. I made Mr. Saunders aware of the situation and have not received a response. I did my own research and had my mechanic perform a valve adjustment and change the spark plugs, which fixed the issue. The clearances on the valves were out of spec and had most likely been that way when I purchased the car. So much for their "rigorous safety and maintenance inspection". On the other hand, Mr. Machado was great to work with and I really appreciated his help and professionalism. More
I visited three top used car dealers in the state, two of the top three were local to me. I went to test drive the three cars and decided I liked the experience and vehicle at Bourne's auto best. There was no pressuure, all sales staff were very friendly, accomodating, the waiting room was immaculate, had beverages, snacks, big tv and comfy couches, though I was not kept waiting. The sales person I went through was David. He was very pleasant and efficient. I test drove the car after work, the next day during my lunch hour I filled out paperwork, the next day at lunch hour I met with the business manager, and the next day I was able to come pick up the car...it was really that simple because David and Bourne's auto worked with my schedule and made it that simple! i am very happy with my vehicle, the price, the car fax, Bournes extra reviews on line, and their website in general. I also LOVE a no haggle price, I dont feel i am being cheated at a price that could've been lowered for someone else. I highly recommend this dealer for a pleasant and no hassle car buying experience. Will definiitely be a repeat customer, and will recommend friends/family to Bourne's auto!!! More

I came in to Bourne looking for a used vehicle, specifically a car I had seen on the website. The one I was interested in had a deposit on it but Shawn Weir, the employee that was helping me, took specifically a car I had seen on the website. When the purchase of this vehicle did not go through Shawn called me to let me know it was available. I ended up purchasing the vehicle and my experience working with Shawn was excellent. He was very friendly, open, and would listen to my concerns. He was a pleasure to work with during this car buying experience. Once the paperwork was finalized, I shipped everything over to Bournes. I was set on making my flight to MA. Once I touched down at Logan Airport, I alerted Carlos Machado who then, coordinated a driver to pick me from the shuttle bus station in Quincy, I was very impressed by that! Once I arrived at the dealership, I felt like I was in for a surprise when, Seng Pell opened the door to show me the COBRA indoors, instead of the lot. I had to practically pickup my jaw from the floor. Finally, I have found the COBRA I was waiting for! I was reassured when Bournes wanted trip back to Fairfax,VA (7.5 hours & 450miles away) , to be a smooth one with a complimentary full tank of gas included, in addition to the fresh detail! Ultimately, I'm thankful to work with gentleman like Carlos and Seng that, helped me to achieve something I wanted! Had a great experience dealing with everyone at Bourne, especially Shawn Weir, and Mike Kelley. I generally do not like dealing with car dealers especially the sales force.
