I questioned the clarity to when my oil was scheduled to be changed. The sticker on the window said one thing, the Mazda app said another. It was refreshing to be on the receiving end of sales and service communicate and problem solve in my behalf. I am not one to be in a hurry per se, rather, I want to get it right. Byers Mazda got it right. Ken looked at my app and pointed to the miles left before next oil change at 5,000 miles. Everything lined up. The thing I appreciate right up there with kindness is the effort to answer questions that may come up. If the person doesn’t know they get someone that does. I am one who reads and wants to know the details. I told Rusty, I am fairly analog, coming from a gas only Mazda 6 turbo. I didn’t see if service checked for software updates. Perhaps none needed. I would like to know how I would be notified. I don’t want to be tardy. People don’t have to be nice. I appreciate that the Mazda team is nice to all of us. People buy you before we buy it. I buy that they are trying very much to make my day, so to speak, of which I am grateful. The bottom line, Byers is a fit for me at this point. If you are anyone like me. When I say experience, I have driven Mazda by choice for 20 years and brought new vehicles at the time. My favorite car to this day was Mazda Sp23 sourced from Australia. Seven Mazda’s later not including my daughter’s 2017 Mazda 3 that she totaled. She walked away with a bloody nose from the air bag. I co-signed, as a college student she put down $7000 of her own money. The car is paid off. The Mazda experience makes thee difference in ownership. More
