Arrived for service appointment after a heavy snow, lot was cleared but snow was piled up against service door. Parked out front and walked in. They had me drive through the snow, backed up and pulled forw was cleared but snow was piled up against service door. Parked out front and walked in. Kind of strange they didn't clear the snow to pull into the bay. Everything else was fine. More

I questioned the clarity to when my oil was scheduled to be changed. The sticker on the window said one thing, the Mazda app said another. The difference was promptly reconciled and service scheduled me 2-3 be changed. The sticker on the window said one thing, the Mazda app said another. It was refreshing to be on the receiving end of sales and service communicate and problem solve in my behalf. I am not one to be in a hurry per se, rather, I want to get it right. Byers Mazda got it right. Ken looked at my app and pointed to the miles left before next oil change at 5,000 miles. Everything lined up. The thing I appreciate right up there with kindness is the effort to answer questions that may come up. If the person doesn’t know they get someone that does. I am one who reads and wants to know the details. I told Rusty, I am fairly analog, coming from a gas only Mazda 6 turbo. I didn’t see if service checked for software updates. Perhaps none needed. I would like to know how I would be notified. I don’t want to be tardy. People don’t have to be nice. I appreciate that the Mazda team is nice to all of us. People buy you before we buy it. I buy that they are trying very much to make my day, so to speak, of which I am grateful. The bottom line, Byers is a fit for me at this point. If you are anyone like me.
