Totally different experience, and that's a good thing The last time I ever bought a car from a dealership was 15 years ago and I just wanted to forget that whole experience ever happened. It was rough. The last time I ever bought a car from a dealership was 15 years ago and I just wanted to forget that whole experience ever happened. It was rough. Salesmen were very pushy and put a lot of pressure on us to buy RIGHT THEN, and not even the car we came for in the first place. They didn't honor any deals I made with them via their website, and straight out lied about the employee I was talking to about the car even working there. After eight hours of being at that place with small kids, they finally "remembered" that the employee I spoke to earlier actually worked there, but only after I let my kids run loose. It was an awful time but at least we got the car at the price we wanted. I said I'd NEVER do that again. Fast forward to now. We went to Cardinale Mazda in search of a CX-5 to test drive. We wanted to replace the two older cars we had and downsize to a compact SUV. I didn't want to have any kind of similar experience I'd had before so I was very cautious upon arrival When we got there, we were met by Gabe Adkins. Gabe is very outgoing and made us feel welcome right away. We told him what we did and didn't want and he produced a car for us to drive and see what we thought. I didn't expect to have a car salesman be so fun to be around. He didn't pressure us to buy anything. He didn't make us sign or initial any papers saying we'd buy anything if we drove a car. He was actually trying to help us get the right car! I was taken completely off guard. I still thought he had to have some angle and I waited for it to come out. It never did. He was sincere, helpful, and really fun. I thought, "This is a car dealership? This is a car salesman? He's not a snake! This guy is pretty awesome, in fact." It turns out the salesman at Cardinale Mazda don't work on commission so they don't feel pressured to make any sales quotas. Gabe was legit. He knew his stuff, and he actually found us the car we eventually bought. I wouldn't have believed it was possible before, considering the awful experience I'd had at the other dealership all those years ago, but it was a delight to work with Gabe at Cardinale Mazda. I'd buy from him again in a heartbeat. Oh, and do I love the car choice he picked for me? Oh yes. Yes, I do. Thank you, Gabe, for being honest and real, and for making this whole thing a completely different experience than it was last time. You are the best! More

Terrible from start to finish Granted I'm the dummy who signed the papers. They are pushy, manipulative, and do not listen to customer needs. I've had the car 4 months and find out the factory turbo was blown the whole time and they knew it. (I will sue until I'm on the streets, and then i will sue again) They doubled my payment, and conveniently forgot I told them I am a contract worker until it was cause for them to raise my payment even more. If you are looking for a mazda, give cardinale way a big single finger salute, and buy elsewhere. They are crooks and dont care about you in the slightest way. I cant remember the managers name, but he could roll his eyes half way around the planet. You better walk in with an 850 credit score and 10k down if you want to work with that pile of xxxxxxxxx. The minute I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Matt Shelton and Donny Mortier, who were so friendly, and in minutes, I was test-driving a 2019 CX5. Those two guys, along with Corrie in Finance, went out of their way to explain every aspect of the car, and I left confident that I had gotten a great deal, with all the features that are important to me. It's my first Mazda, and I'm thrilled to be driving it. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone! Lisa E More
