Once his part was done, it took entirely too long to get out of there. We got there at 4:30, test drove within 10 minutes and decided to buy it by 5:15. We did not leave the dealership in our new car until after 8pm. The finance part took 3 hours and it was very frustrating as there was hardly anyone there. The finance guy was nice but he was rude to my husband when we told him we didn’t need any extra warranties because my husband is a master mechanic. And the finance guy laughed at him and said, “not for these cars” well actually he builds chevy’s in our garage and has been trained at several dealerships. I am an insurance agent and told them I don’t need gal insurance, yet they kept pushing and saying we did need it. Then he called the sales manager in to tell us that we did need it. I do not appreciate being laughed at and treated like I don’t know what I want or not want. I have purchased 5 cars in the past decade and I’ve never been treated like this before. If I didn’t love the car, I would have walked out. I had already agreed to a sales price and a trade in price for my car- I was a paying customer and they were too pushy about extended warranty and gap insurance. I’m no idiot either. None of the negative reviews reflect the sales man Alex Mizelle as he really was the best part of the experience and the sole purpose we bought the car. More
