Back in 1973 a guy named Jimmy Carter started a Chevy Dealership in Okarche, Oklahoma. No, not that Jimmy Carter. This Jimmy never ran for President or farmed any peanuts. Everyone just called him Carter and he found his mission in life - Making Friends, Selling Cars, In That Order. Well since then we've continued to carry on his mission to help friends like you. Although Carter focused primarily on Fleet & Commercial Truck Sales for over 40 years, in 2014 we decided to focus on Internet Shoppers like yourself without changing our mission or the way we do business. I'm 62 years and I've bought a lot of cars in my lifetime, but Carter Chevrolet was the dealership experience I've ever had. The "making friends, selling cars" is not just a slogan, it's really h lifetime, but Carter Chevrolet was the dealership experience I've ever had. The "making friends, selling cars" is not just a slogan, it's really how then operate. That's for everybody at the dealership, too. Grant, the sales manager, noted that I'm sure in there a lot which is true it's fun to go there and shoot the breeze. What other car dealer could I say that about? None of them! We just completed the most painless and totally satisfying purchase of a vehicle from Carter Chevrolet. We found an SUV online from their inventory that matched what we were looking for. After a call to their sales department, we made contact with Nathan who helped us a lot, answered our questions, and confirmed some features about the vehicle. Nathan was honest and forthcoming. We made flight arrangements to visit them the next day; we were picked up at the OKC airport, and after about an hour at the dealership including a test drive and paperwork completion, we were almost on our way driving back to Colorado. “Almost” means we were treated to dinner at Eischen’s across the street which was also fantastic. Carter Chevrolet is unlike any other, housed in an historic building, comfortable, with an incredibly casual atmosphere. Everyone we talked to was very pleasant, friendly, and made us feel at home. They all seemed genuine and happy to work there. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. The word of the day: Easy! More
