UNCERTIFIED Benz and Beemer should be their name! This review has been a long time coming as I've tried to be patient. Eventually, I now feel as though I was put into a faulty car. Despite ALL the warrant review has been a long time coming as I've tried to be patient. Eventually, I now feel as though I was put into a faulty car. Despite ALL the warranties and service packages I purchased with the car I'm somehow still left with a tab for an issue present when the car was still on the lot! I'd believe the car should be screened if they try to call themselves "certified" anything. Clearly that didn't happen... or they should change their name to the aforementioned UNCERTIFIED BENZ N FAILURE. Where do I begin!? I came in to see a Mercedes S550 I had my eyes on. They also had an Escalade on the lot I was quite interested in at a slightly higher price point. Things all go south from there- we go ahead and test drive the Mercedes. I noticed issues with the paint and other things but figured that could be worked out at closing. I fill out an app, get approved but am asked which car I'd prefer between the Mercedes and Escalade. I say I really like the Escalade to which they tell me it was hard enough to get me the $50k loan for the Mercedes. The Escalade is only 3k more. We all know car and home purchases are done a lot with feeling and emotion over rational decision making but HELP ME OUT HERE UNCERTIEFIED BENZ N BEEMER! I end up getting every warranty I can get, full extended coverage as well as their service package. I drive off the lot and immediately hear squeaking on the front left side(SWELL!). I immediately call in to schedule a full bra to go on the car as I at least got something handed out to me for the noticeable issues in paint and they told me that whatever squeak is happening is covered in the 10-day 3,000 mile coverage and wont be an issue. I goto my detail and body shop, some of the best in the valley at Innovative Auto and Sport Auto Detail and they confirm- the whole rear bumper is clearly in need of work and was painted over and that touch up paint was used poorly all over. I pay 1400 to fix some but not all of it, as I'm beyond frustrated at this point knowing I was right, and having a sales manager, David James, tell me I'm wrong. I then bring the car in to Uncertified Benz n Beemer- they cant hear anything. They apply the clear bra, I take the car back after pitiful communication with the device department TO THE POINT I HAD TO SHOW UP ON SITE FOR UPDATES AND WAS TOLD MY MESSAGES WERENT RECEIVED-add to it... squeak is STILL present. So I take THEM for a ride in the car to show them how inept they are at solving this issue. Sure enough, as we are riding along, a technician goes, "oh... yea... that shouldn't be there- that doesnt sound good." No S$^÷ Sherlock, ya dont say? They then hold my car for more time than estimated, again, never offering a rental, and long enough for the new clear bra to already start to come off and look like amateurs handled its application. Also, they tell me they cant fix what's wrong under any warranty, 10 day, or even my extended. WHAT!?!?! no, that is NOT what I was told. I need my car back at this point and drive on for a bit after they make fixes to the clear bra. I THEN need to being it back not long thereafter as the clear bra is now totally falling off all over the front end! At which point I'm pissed and frustrated I still have a squeaky front end and just say- fix the whole xxxx thing! They told me theyd give me cost of the part(GEE, ISNT THAT SWELL). But THEN I find out they CAN fix the initial issue under warranty that they believe was causing the squeak but NOW found a larger issue with the suspension on that side, all of which, of course, not under warranty... so now I of course think I was put into a car they either knew was faulty and wanted off the lot(it had been there a decent amount of time I remember seeing online) or are truly as UNCERTIFIED as I believe them to be to try and put me in a car with major issues. I'm being offered a discount for the work done but feel it's not right, and I've been cheated into what should be a great experience with a great vehicle. More
