Meets and surpasses expectations My wife and I have purchased two new Subarus from this dealer, 10 years apart. The most case was in April 2016, when we bought a 2016 Subaru Foreste My wife and I have purchased two new Subarus from this dealer, 10 years apart. The most case was in April 2016, when we bought a 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium. We began considering anew car purchase 2 years earlier, when we initially made contact with our sales rep. We were unsure whether to buy a new or used Subaru. The rep explained the plusses and minuses of each approach. We mulled the issue back and forth, and I'd see the new Subarus during my infrequent service visits with the 1996 vehicle. The rep called us perhaps once during this process--just right, in our view. Finally, when we ready to make a decision, we met with him, test-drove two models (Forester and CrossTrek), and confirmed that we wanted to purchase a Forester. The sales rep explained a currently available special sales price, and, after discussion, agreed to include one or two minor accessories.. There was no haggling, no "I've got to the talk with my manager" disappearances. The deal was fair and straightforward. Ditto with the trade-in. The car was delivered on time and with excellent instruction in the features of the Forester that were new to us (primarily bluetooth connection). My son needed a car so he was going to get my old Subaru with its new clutch, while I was torn between buying a Forester or a Crosstrek. At CitySide, Peter was free so he arranged for a test drive. He let me take several cars out without coming along. That way I could get a feel for the cars instead of hearing a rundown of auto features. Deciding on the Crosstrek, I looked at dealers online who had the Crosstrek with the color and options I wanted. When I emailed Peter back, his offer was attractive and hassle-free. Peter is a great communicator who meshes customer preferences with dealer possibilities, without belaboring negotiating points.
