Odd visit I was a bit disappointed as I had heard the salesman rave about the service department. I came in for the 6,000 mile check-up and told the receptioni I was a bit disappointed as I had heard the salesman rave about the service department. I came in for the 6,000 mile check-up and told the receptionist that a tire had a leak and that there was a screw or nail in it. When the car was finished I asked if they had plugged it and he said no, but that the service person HAD seen it. So they took it back in and plugged it. I don't understand why they didn't do it in the first place. It didn't inspire too much confidence. I had also thought that the car would be washed and cleaned on the interior, which it was not. On the other hand, everyone was very polite, and the appointment was quick. More

The 45,000 mile check-up, recall inspection, and diagnosis for why my car wouldn't start were all completed and the problem with the car was fixed easily--without unnecessary work or replacement of parts. A very easy, friendly shopping experience I visited Cityside based on a recommendation from a friend who also shopped here. She and her husband loved the friendly, easy attitude of the salesma I visited Cityside based on a recommendation from a friend who also shopped here. She and her husband loved the friendly, easy attitude of the salesman they worked with (Mark Lidano). All I remember from my last car buying experience (admittedly 9 years ago) was the feeling of being pressured to buying something RIGHT NOW. Working with Mark, he really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a car. Based on that, he provided some recommendations and he did not just limit it to Subarus. He really wanted me to find the right car, not specifically the right Subaru, and he was completely understanding (and encouraged it) when I said I wanted to take some time and think about my options. He welcomed me back (and remembered be!) more than a month later once I had made my decision and felt ready to purchase. The rest of the staff there were also very friendly, acknowledging me within a few minutes of walking in the door and asking if I needed any assistance. The 'paperwork guy' John Melvin was also very helpful in helping me find the right warranty coverage based on my driving habits, instead of trying to push me towards the most expensive package. I left feeling like I had the coverage I needed, without having paid for too much. All in all, it was a really pleasant experience. If I'm looking for another car, I will definitely come back and I highly recommend people at least check out Cityside (and definitely speak to Mark) if they are looking for a low-pressure car buying experience, even if they're not looking for a Subaru. More

Easy tire repairs I've been back to the dealer twice when I had low pressure readings on tires. Our roofers had left nails in the driveway. Cityside looked at the car right away, patched and refilled tires and sent me on my way. This happened again a few months later. Not sure if another dealer would have told me I needed to replace the tires but I trusted them and they came through - $21 for the repair. More
