Great experience with Cityside Subaru I was a bit hesitant to look at Cityside since I had a not - so -great experience with them a few years ago. This time it was completely different,! Tom was a great salesman, helpful and informative but not pushy and very efficient as well as friendly! I did pretty much everything on line until I picked up the car and that was very smooth and easy. I left some important CD's in my old car and Tom went the extra distance to find them and get them returned to me. He also invited me to call with any questions that might come up after I drove away.. I love the car and I would certainly recommend them. This type of guarded outlook can often times determine the outcome before you even engage a dealership or salesperson. Attitude often times differentiates a good experience from a bad one. Peter's approach to sales is low stress and honest. My purchase was made in December of 2013. My old car was getting up there in years, and was not fairing so well in the snow as it had in the past. After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to make the move from Honda to Subaru. I had an idea of what I wanted. Peter walked me through all the options, and then took me out for a test drive. Moment later, I was discussing a deal. It outlined everything in detail and helped me to work within my budget. He is reasonable, polite, and professional. Since purchasing, I routinely see and talk with Peter. He's as pleasant and nice as the day we met. He made my purchase a good experience, and every encounter since then has reinforced my opinion of him even further. More

Wonderful experience buying my dream car I was in the market to buy a 2015 Subaru STi and was looking at dealerships closer to home. After a couple of bad experiences with sales persons, I de I was in the market to buy a 2015 Subaru STi and was looking at dealerships closer to home. After a couple of bad experiences with sales persons, I decided to broaden my search and began calling around. I got in touch with Peter Rosenberg at Cityside Subaru, who gave me a call back immediately with potential options. I made a visit to the dealership and was very taken with the floor model in ice silver, even though I was leaning towards white. Once I'd settled on the color, Peter walked me through all the options that I might be interested in, and whether to lease or buy. He laid out the pros and cons of leasing instead of buying, especially a high performance car that might not hold its value well over the years if bought. The negotiations over price were good-natured and I was given a fairly good deal with my trade-in and monthly payments. There was a mixup with finance (the bank that Subaru works with do not allow leases for non-US citizens) which meant I ended up buying the car anyway, but that was an oversight which could have been avoided. I was still happy with the price offered and the service was excellent. I had a very good experience with Peter as the sales person and would definitely recommend both him and Cityside Subaru for their customer service. Peter was very patient with all my questions and he made suggestions that worked out for the best, without being pushy. All my interactions with him were very personable and we've kept in touch long after my purchase. This has been the best car buying experience of my life, and I'm certain I will come back to Cityside and Peter for my next purchase. More
