This was my first time getting a car. During the research phase, the negative reviews I read about many dealerships made me dread the whole process, so much so that I put it off as long as I could. After reading some positive reviews about Cityside Subaru in general and Peter Rosenberg in particular, I called them and fortunately Peter answered. From that first phone call onwards, Peter has been true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. He made the process I was dreading fun! He made some very useful suggestions when we were trying to decide whether to go with a 4-door or a 5-door. He was and still is always available if I need to call him with any questions (this is months after I signed the lease and got the car) and responds to my phone calls and emails promptly, even when it involves getting a third party to respond. This is truly standing behind your product & your transaction, and is much appreciated. As an added bonus, he has a great sense of humor. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed his company and conversing with him. He is truly one of a kind and a major asset to Cityside. More

I was terrified of not having a manual in the snow and concerned about pickup without a turbo. He quickly arranged test drives of both models so I could see for myself how peppy the Cross Trek was and how the paddle shifters could fill my manual need. Test drives were set up at convenient times. Peter always made us feel comfortable and seemed genuinely happy to see us. He was responsive and thorough with all his communications and kindly followed up after the car was a few days old making sure I was satisfied. There are a number of reasons I have always loved Cityside Suburu, and my experience buying my new Cross Trek was yet another reason. More

Back in 2010 while searching for a dealership to make purchase of a WRX, I met a surprisingly unique salesman at Cityside Subaru in Belmont. Peter Rosenberg was new to the job, the profession, and the product. Four years after the sale of the car, and he continues remembering me whenever I am in for service. During the 4 years of ownership, I was impressed with the service level I have experienced working with Joe Cisek, Nick Karamoutsos, Bryan Drysdale, and the team of first rate technicians - mostly long time employees. Case in point: less than a month ago after having a major accident in my WRX (which was totaled), Joe and Peter jumped right in and within two weeks I was in a brand new ’14 WRX. Car was still at the port, so they lent me a car for the wait period saving me on rental fees. Dan, the sales manager did a nice gesture as well for my inconvenience. I am continually impressed with the car and this dealership in every way. They are efficient, trustworthy, and dependable as well as pleasant to deal with, and I strongly recommend… Thank you Cityside! More

They working jointly in the success of this sale. This dealership is fortunate to have Nathan. His demeanor, his consistency, and his like-ability factor are a marketing bonus.. Mark Lidano works closely with Nathan,, and they have a good repor, makes the customer feel attended to and needs responded to. A win win situation . I have to praise Nathan for his skill and his ability to convey a smooth,unruffled , and approachable style . His sales leadership is clearly mirrored in his sales people in their style and manner. It is a great system, from this perspective. Dealerships are high on the list of disappointing experiences, and most dread the process and the sales people. This is not the case at City Side. That is worth a lot to the consumer. My remarks largely are about the quality and style of the sales manager and the sales (men), (they seem to lack women), in theiir sales personnel. The vehicle can sell itself. For me/ us, what will make or break a deal is the experience with the sales marketing folks. If they don't rmake the sales experience smooth and customer-centered, the sale isnt a go. They are part of the purchase price when buying a new 2014 Subaru Forester Limited. This was a seamless experience and my/our hope is that the marketing strategy remains and strives to be customer-centered. This one positive factor sets CitySide apart from other dealerships My only other comment is about their service department. I most recently had a multi stage experience around a vehicle with Nick, in service, He was helpful, responsive and great at taking care of the customer and the vehicle we had owned, More
