What I liked about Bill was that I only dealed with him. I did not feel intimated or pushed into purchasing a car. I left the dealership feeling good about my purchase. Bill is calm and friendly. He was very patient while I got my info together. Explained my options and didn't patronize. He walked me to the lot and I test drove a brand new civic. The plastic was still on the seats🙂. We chatted about my finance options and reviewed pricing. He patiently showed my how the Bluetooth and other features worked and didn't go too fast. He even looked through my old car and bought two items to me that I forgot: a guardian angel visor clip and a bottle of spring water that I left. No surprises - the price he quoted from the beginning is what I am paying. Honda struck gold with this guy! I will definitely go to Bill again. Bill was engaging in inquiring about my needs, and providing the necessary information for me to proceed with my search in coming to view and test-drive the vehicle. Upon arriving at the beautiful and spotless suburban dealership, Bill introduced me to Joe Vizzi, who listened, took me on a test-drive, and answered my questions. Bill, Joe and the vehicle sold me and within an hour I was on my way. I had some special needs, and Joe was very accommodating in allowing me to pick-up the vehicle the following week. The actual "write-up" with Ajay was professional while explaining all of the paperwork and answering my questions. All-in-all, I experienced a professional and personable sales team at Clinton Honda, who made the purchase experience as painless and informative as possible. So my son, who recently purchased a new Honda, highly recommended Charlie to me. Charlie exhibited the highest qualities and professionalism while doing this in a friendly way. After doing some research, we settled on the CR-V because of it's high ratings in Consumer Reports and that it could fit the car seats we had. When we first arrived at the dealership, we perused the used inventory on the lot and found one we liked. We headed inside and we're told to wait. I was expecting a half hour wait since they were busy but within 5 minutes, Tom, the sales manager, led us over to Scott, one of the salesmen. Right off the bat, I knew this was going to be easy since Scott seemed like a normal guy and wasn't out just to make a sale. After the test drive, we headed inside to start the paperwork and everything for the most part went smoothly. Scott was very courteous and explained everything in detail. He didn't add any pressure to buy any extra accessories or services and was content when we refused. I felt bad having him work later than he had expected but he never showed any signs of frustration or trying to get rid of us. Once we got everything cleared through the business manager, we were good to go and enjoy our new car. I will definitely keep Honda in the back of my mind when shopping for my next car and will certainly go back to Clinton Honda. After a bit of panic over the situation, I did an online search of available pre-owned Hondas on the Clinton Honda website, found one that seemed to suit my needs, and sent off an e-mail of interest. Within a half hour or so, I had a return email and phone call from Bill Ripka. I was able to arrange a hold on the car I was interested in with the help of Tom Winnicky, who had helped me with the purchase of my previous Honda several years ago. A day later, I met with Charlie Bippart and John Butto, both of whom walked me through the purchasing and financing aspects with the ease of their expertise. All four of these gentlemen were attentive to my needs and concerns, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful, and made the entire experience stress free. Thank you. More
