This team appreciated and respected that I am a disabled veteran living on a fixed income and they all tried to get me incredibly low interest on my loan and communicated with senior leaders and altogether they where able to offer me a deal that kept my payment in an affordable range. I’m so grateful for all their help and their sincere caring attitudes. This buying experience was positive and pleasing. They offer beverages,fruits and food loaded with carbs if you wanted. This is honestly the best buying experience I’ve had when purchasing a car. I also wish to send applause to the man who detailed the truck before I received it and special thanks to Glenn who refurbished and painted my license plates so they looked great. Good & Bad, but mostly Average Let me start by saying that this was my first Ford purchase in over 12 years, For the last 12 years my wife and I have purchased 7 new German branded Let me start by saying that this was my first Ford purchase in over 12 years, For the last 12 years my wife and I have purchased 7 new German branded vehicles from local dealerships. I recently sold my 2006 F-150 and needed a replacement. Colonial had some good deals on left over F150's. We corresponded through email and were able to come to terms. I made the 3 hour trip to the dealership from out of state to complete the sales paperwork in person. I was short on time, but it was a quiet day and the folks at Colonial were able to get me finished up and out the door in a timely fashion. Since I was out of state, they offered to deliver the vehicle once it was ready for delivery. Delivery and post-sale is where the Ford experience differs from their European counterparts. Despite the slow day at the dealer, no "Hello" or "Thank You" from any Sales or General Manager. No discounts offered on accessories. Kind of crazy after dropping over $50k....but whatever, have to make money somewhere I guess. Full retail for small items like that after a sale seems a little petty. I will say my sales associate George was very good and very attentive. Nick in Finance is a stand-up guy as well. I bought a new truck but was delivered a vehicle with an open recall, interior rust and exterior blemishes. I accept some responsibility for this as I was naive to assume that the dealer would perform a thorough pre-delivery inspection. I can't remember a time where I purchased a new car and it wasn't 100% when it was received. I received an email asking for feedback on my experience through the Dealer Rater website. Before posting this review I sent an email to the dealer outlining my issues and gave the a few days to at least respond with a "sorry about that, sometimes we miss things..." or a "the reason we delivered your vehicle with an outstanding open recall is......". But, nope - nothing. So, I'll classify this as your typical new car dealership experience. No better, no worse. Just, average. I'll end up getting the issues with my truck addressed locally. Just seems crazy to have to take 1 or 2 days out of my schedule to bring a new truck back to new condition. More
