Scheduling an appointment is easy, however we did run into an issue with when the work was started and length of time it took to complete the job. Vehicle sat for 2 weeks “waiting for approval” when they into an issue with when the work was started and length of time it took to complete the job. Vehicle sat for 2 weeks “waiting for approval” when they had already received approval. Was made to feel that the miscommunication was on our part, rather than the service department. This resulted in vehicle sitting there for 2 weeks, and then the repair process starting, parts were backordered, delaying the process even longer, for a total of 7 weeks from vehicle drop off to vehicle repaired and picked up. Will give them credit in that they waited after hours for vehicle to be picked up. Though also feel this was warranted due to length of time they had the vehicle. More
I drove an hour to get there. My truck was never put in the service bay. I was told it would be at least 1200 bucks to have sensores installed in the wheels. I bring my 2019 explorer to Colonial Ford for my routine maintenance checks. Quite often, I’m told, everything is fine. I’ve never had to do much, other than oil changes. Several months ago, I brought my ve maintenance checks. Quite often, I’m told, everything is fine. I’ve never had to do much, other than oil changes. Several months ago, I brought my vehicle in because I was having issues with going in reverse or turning in reverse. Many codes were coming up. I was told that everything was fine. They did not experience what I was experiencing. It was likely a computer glitch. The problem continued. I brought my vehicle back in. I was having a transmission issue, plus other things! Not only that, but I also needed NUMEROUS maintenance fixes. I was never informed that my front and back brakes were both going/ gone. 1mm and 3mm. Filters, valves, shock plugs, you name it, all needed to be replaced, all at the same time. I feel like my vehicle was never inspected thoroughly and that gives me very little confidence in you. No one ever thoroughly inspected my tires. My husband insisted I get them checked elsewhere. I brought my vehicle to someone I knew at Sullivan tire in Marshfield. My tires were bald- and it was wintertime. Last week, I had $3,500 worth of maintenance issues I addressed and fixed, but there were many more I held off on. Ford Colonial- a little maintenance goes a very long way. Your experts know the life expectancy of parts and they should be replaced before issues turn into problems. Vehicles NEED to be maintained for the safety of all on the road. In conclusion, this may have been the last time I bring my vehicle to Colonial Ford for service. I feel my vehicle was not given the attention it deserved. Please look at all of the things my vehicle needed when I went in at my July appointment. I reached out to Ford and was told they don’t fix things that aren’t broken. Vehicles need to be maintained for safety. You did not keep my family safe! Kristen Keady More

First time service customer, I was very happy with the process. From making the appointment, getting a date that fit my schedule, dropping my vehicle off, getting a ride home from the courtesy vehicle, sp process.
