I brought my car in for shutting off while driving. I had gotten an oil change three weeks prior and had taken it to a Firestone the week before for a state inspection and new tires; Firestone recommen I had gotten an oil change three weeks prior and had taken it to a Firestone the week before for a state inspection and new tires; Firestone recommended I bring it to a dealership because the codes seemed like some sort of electrical problem (suspected the PCM or BCM). This dealership quoted me for an oil change (stating "dirty oil"), a tire rotation (because the tires were showing uneven wear) and replacement of the center stack. They mentioned in the quote that the $700 center stack replacement was just "a starting point" and not likely to resolve the issue. I was pretty surprised about the comment about the oil, so after receiving this quote, I visited the dealership to check the dipstick and found it was bone-dry. The dealership had not mentioned anything about an oil leak and described the oil as dirty, when there was really no oil in the car at all. Uneven wear on week-old tires was also a ridiculous claim. These two issues clarified that this dealership did not do the thorough diagnosis they billed $190 for. At this point, I had lost any trust in this dealership and was not interested in having them do any work on my car. I brought the oil and tire discrepancies to their attention and fortunately they agreed to waive the diagnostic fee. All of the individuals I interacted with at this dealership were polite, but observing a business bill me for things that were so obviously not true was highly disappointing. More

Two recalls, dropped off Friday. Told to expect call that evening. Nothing, and I reached out sat, Mon, Tues, and Thurs to ask what was going on. Someone left mid week and I was lost in the shuffle. Brian was very apologetic but it was a very frustrating experience to not have any idea what was happening with my car and when I could get it. It took 6 days because it wasn't worked on until it was there for about 4-5 days. I was expecting to not have my car for a day or two.
