I've worked with Darren a few times and he has always been great. The earliest appointment available online was for Thursday. I needed it sooner and called that Monday. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. I purchased the car from them in March. I immediately noticed that her speedometer never matched with the navigation apps that show speed(Waze, goo I purchased the car from them in March. I immediately noticed that her speedometer never matched with the navigation apps that show speed(Waze, google maps, etc). I used several apps, including Life 360, that tracks the teens speed while driving. Her car's speedometer consistently shows 7-8 miles slower than her actual speed. I brought it back to have the speedometer re-calibrated. After an hour, the Jack from service came out and said that the technician said that there was no problem and that he even had Waze open and showed no problem. I asked if I could ride with the tech because waze always shows the differences in speed. At that point, Jack got pretty snippy/nasty. He said that his tech has wasted enough time on a car without a problem and that I should feel lucky that he wasn't going to charge me for his time. I understand that this is not a common issue, but I also do not want my kid to get a ticket or to continue to watch her screen to stay the correct speed. I will not return to Cortese for any reason, unless they agree to re-look and actually look and remedy this problem. So unfortunate!! More
