A little Covert History.
In 1909, Frank M. Covert, Sr., a real estate and insurance businessman opened the first automobile dealership in Central Texas. Three years later, his son, Clarence Covert, Sr., joined him to form the Austin Buick Sales Company, which became the foundation for Covert Buick, Inc., the oldest Buick dealership in Texas today.
Frank M. Covert Sr. was succeeded in the business by his two sons, Frank Covert Jr. and Clarence Covert Sr. Frank Covert, Jr. had one son, Dr. Frank M. Covert III, who chose not to join the family business and instead became a surgeon. He is now retired from the practice of medicine and resides in Austin. We went to Covert Ford/Chevrolet Hutto to tradie in our 2009 Traverse. My wife is extremely picky when it comes to color and style of vehicle. After working with us on our trade-in and getting us to the 2009 Traverse. My wife is extremely picky when it comes to color and style of vehicle. After working with us on our trade-in and getting us to the point we could move forward, we tried to find a vehicle that would meet our budget needs. There were none on the lot that met both our budget needs as well as my wife's criteria. We thought we were done and left a bit disappointed. Much to our surpise, Kelly contacted us less than 30 minutes later with a potential vehicle for us that met all our criteria. Talking about going above and beyond. Covert worked a deal with another vendor, got us the vehicle we wanted, stayed within our budget needs, and to top it off, we got extras with the vehicle they found that we were not expecting (luggage rack, running boards). We were MORE THAN PLEASED with our whole experience. Kudos to Kelly and the Covert team for making this a wonderful experience and going above and beyond to meet our needs and make my wife smile :-). I searched all over to find the best deal in the area. I had over 10 dealers call me every day but the one I really injoyed talking to was Kelly at Covert. I now have over 10,000 mi on my new 2011 TX Edition Silverado. What an absolutely amazing driving experience. I have driven from Austin through Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia, Silverado. What an absolutely amazing driving experience. I have driven from Austin through Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia, all on my way back to Richmond, Virginia. This truck turned heads everywhere I stopped. Driving around Virginia in a Texas Edition is awesome. People always ask where I got it. I always refer them to the terrific customer service provided by Mark Reiland and the entire Covert team. If you are looking to buy a new car with as little hassle as possible, then this is your place!
